Dan Barrett 2014

Christmas came early for anyone who is a fan of tech riding, and Dan Barrett. This is hands down Dan's best edit to date. He put serious work into all of these clips, and it shows. Some of the best tech riding I've seen in a very long time. This is one that will be rewatched over and over. Check it out below.

Arnaud Marchenoir 2014

So, Arnaud is pretty much one of my new top 3 favorite riders around right now. The originality is waay too strong, and he just makes it all look really good. I know some riders can do some of these tricks, but I also know it won't look nearly as polished as it does when Arnaud is throwing it down. It's really weird because I get easily annoyed when people get too technical with their tricks, but I can't stop replaying this one. He did a great job, good dude, solid riding.

Jon deVrind Welcome to Scooter Farm

The Farm Team just got a bit bigger with the addition of Jon deVrind. You know what to expect from Jon, lots of tech, and loads of steez. I was feeling all the manual lines, but that last clip still caught me off guard. So good. And that longer Crisp deck is looking pretty good.

Arnaud "Warneup" Marchenoir Spring 2014

You know, with most "unique" riders, you get to see original riding, but they usually lack in style or other departments. Arnaud is not that kind of rider. He has the style to make all of his technical tricks look really good. This is easily his best edit to date, and it is now one of my favorite edits I've ever seen. So many original tricks to go with his original style. I literally found myself saying "What!" out loud like 4-5 times in this edit. Arnaud worked really hard on this one, so give it a watch!

Jon deVrind "Don't Sweat the Technique"

I don't think it's possible to not enjoy a Jon D video. The dude rides so smooth it's almost annoying. At first I wasn't sure about his move to Crisp, but his riding is continuing to improve, so I guess it's proving to be a good fit. Jon has one of the best tech/tictac styles in the game, that it's easy to forget that he is also the same rider that threw down probably the biggest 360 whip I've ever seen (Seattle Street Jam). Peep the edit.

Dissidence 5th Anniversary Sesh

Dissidence has been killing it for 5 years now, and to celebrate that they had one of their famous box sessions at the warehouse. I gotta say, Lambert was shutting it down. Then again, it's a Dissidence edit.. so you know everyone was killing it. That last clip tho..

Jon Devrind Full Clip

When it comes to tech combos, a lot of riders unfortunately make them look stiff and forced. Jon, is not one of those riders. He makes everything looks so fluid and smooth. Really stoked on these clips, and the new Crisp scooter doesn't look half bad either. Check em out below.

AO in Germany

AO was in Germany for the ISA Competition, and along with some other riders put together a bad ass edit. Tons of tech riding on all kinds of obstacles. Lambert was killing it, and of course Brandon James was shutting it down as usual. Worth the watch for sure.

Planet Coping Vol. 3

I'm sorry but I don't care who you are, if you ride boxes or ledges or rails you will always be a step behind the small group of French riders that are constantly setting the bar with their ridiculous combos. This was one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while, just non stop madness. Check it

Kilean Pernsteiner and George Weiss Phoenix Combo Contest Entry

These two dudes recently entered the Phoenix Combo Contest, which is a contest that Phoenix Pro riders Jon Reyes and Dan Barrett are holding. The reason I liked these two entries was because they went out and rode street, and brought their tech riding there. As opposed to just hitting up your driveway and setting up some rails and boxes, which don't get me wrong if you shred hard enough, that can still be sick to watch.

But these guys stuck out to me for sure. Really entertaining to see tech riders doing their thing.

Dan Barrett 2012 Edit

For years Dan has made his mark time and time again as one of the sports leading tech riders. No matter what he is riding from a mini ramp, to a manual pad, he will throw his signature style all over it. 2012 has treated Dan very nice, he traveled a lot this year, of course has his signature deck with Phoenix, got an interview in Dialed Issue 3, and as some may know is starting his own wheel company. My respect grew for Dan a lot after reading his interview in Dialed, which you guys can catch in January. He truly is an all around good guy, and one of my favorite riders to watch hands down. That being said, check out his 2012 Edit below, and get your mind blown.

Dan Barrett and Jon Reyes All Is Possible Edit

This might be one of my favorite edits featuring Dan and Jon, and it seems like we've been seeing a lot more of them this past year. Which I have no problem with. Technically these guys bring riding to a new level. Definitely check out this edit they made for All Is Possible.

Jon Devrind - MGK

Jon Devrind, aka Jon Dev, aka now MGK haha, has been one of my favorite riders for a long time now. So much tech, and one of the cleanest styles in the game. Jon was one of the riders who from his first edits was already a really clean stylish rider. Unlike most riders that have to actually develop that. Video is packed with tech bangers. Check it.

JD Egp18 Day Edit

Jordan posted Max Peters edit at Egp18, so I figured I'd toss up JD's as well. Normally putting a tall ass dude on a scooter, can look a bit off at times. But for JD he happens to be one of the tallest, and still one of the cleanest. His tech game is pretty untouched by most of todays riders, and he is only getting better. Really makes you wonder what his "So What" section is going to contain.

Aussie Up and Comers Jami Chan and Darcy Altavilla

Thanks in big part to Aaron Bransdon, Kevin Austin, Jon Archer, and Jackson Manzie and the rest of the Friendly Crew, tech/street riding is growing really well in Australia. Below I got two up and comers in the scene, and they're off to a good start. In Jami's video, at the beginning, I totally put my hands on my knees after that knee slider haha. Check em out below.

Thanks to Kevin Austin for the Jami video.

Bobby Pantano Outside The Box

Living in New Hampshire means riding during the winter isn't easy to do with all the snow everywhere. So Bobby pulled his box out into his driveway, and I don't know what that box ever did to him.. But Bobby decided to kill it with this edit.

Some really sick tech in this video from the up and coming, Bobby Pantano.

Alexis Cuvillier Taravana Scooter Wear Promo

Ok, straight to the point, Alexis kills it in this video. Mix of park and street, with his street clips probably outshining his park clips. It's pretty crazy to see how tech these guys can get, makes me wish some American riders would start stepping up their tech/street game too.

Dissidence 3rd Anniversary Ghetto Box Edit 2

Damn, I loved this. It is really sick to see so many different riders all riding one obstacle. You really get to see the different skills and styles of the riders in the video. Sooo good. Everyone killed it here. I guarantee you've never seen a box get destroyed this hard before..

Andy Knobbe Mini Vid 2

Ok, gotta be honest here.. I didn't have my expectations too high when I got this video sent to me by Andy. However, after watching it I couldn't help but watch it again. He is an amazing tech rider, with such a smooth and solid style. And everyone can hate on driveway clips all they want, but the clips in his driveway were some of my favorites. Also I believe he is doing brakeless manuals, which makes it even more ridiculous. Great video, and I can't wait to see some future edits from Andy, hopefully filmed with a better camera. Check it out below.

Jan Laranjo Web Edit

Jan is from Austria, and is known as the best tech rider out there. He has some really sick stuff in this little edit. It's one of those videos, that you wish was longer so you could see what else this kid can do. Good stuff here, and thanks to Marko Szabo for sending it in!

Speaking of my good friend Marko, here is some throwaway footage that he recently made into an edit. Really liking the powerslide stuff, he was one of the first riders I remember doing those.
