Justin "Juzzy" Carter Farewell Micro Fails and Bails

Justin Carter has been with Micro for quite some time now, and he's released some serious edits in that time. But it looks like his time with the company has come to an end. He announced earlier that he is parting ways with Micro, and has one last edit, a Fails and Bails edit, that he released before he left. Any ideas where Justin is heading now? Let us know in the comments.

Arnaud Marchenoir 2014

So, Arnaud is pretty much one of my new top 3 favorite riders around right now. The originality is waay too strong, and he just makes it all look really good. I know some riders can do some of these tricks, but I also know it won't look nearly as polished as it does when Arnaud is throwing it down. It's really weird because I get easily annoyed when people get too technical with their tricks, but I can't stop replaying this one. He did a great job, good dude, solid riding.

Micro Xtreme complete scooters are now available at Gryndo Scooters! Micro Xtreme (also known as MX) boasts a pretty sweet line-up of pro scooters. From beginners to seasoned vets, MX has freestyle scooters covered with their range of well-built, sleek, and powerful models. Here's a quick run-down of a few of them, which you can get your hands on over at Gryndo. Gryndo Scooters Logo

MX Trixx

The MX Trixx is Micro Xtreme's entry-level scooter, designed for beginners but built with extremely high-quality parts and sporting some pretty cool and unique design features. The MX Trixx scooter has shorter bars (with backsweep) and a smaller deck, both of which make it a perfect match for younger, smaller riders.
  • 4” x 18.5” Deck
  • 21” x 18” Bars
  • Threaded Fork and Compression
  • 100mm Wheels

MX Cross Neck

If you're looking to take that next step from a beginner scooter to an intermediate, the Micro Xtreme Cross Neck scooter is a great option. It features a more stylish design, including a downtube that incorporates the eponymous “Cross Neck” construction for enhanced strength and reduced weight. Other features include gusseted handle bars, a machined head tube, and an SCS quad clamp.
  • 4.5” x 20” Deck
  • 21.5” x 23” Bars
  • 6061 & 6062 Aluminum
  • SCS Compression

MX BenJ Signature

At the top of the pro scooter food chain sits the Micro Xtreme BenJ Friant signature scooter. BenJ is one of the smoothest, most daring riders in the game today, so you know he doesn't ride just any old scooter. His MX signature edition has an innovative design that includes a distinctive downtube and 3D forged headtube, with cutouts right where they're needed to save weight without taking away any strength or stability. Additionally, the BenJ scooter's bars are some of the biggest available, at a whopping 25” tall and 22.5” wide. When you need pro caliber performance, you call in the pro caliber scooter.
  • 4.5” x 20” Deck
  • 22.5” x 25” Bars
  • 6061 Aluminum
  • Mini SCS Compression
  • Fully Integrated

Arnaud "Warneup" Marchenoir Spring 2014

You know, with most "unique" riders, you get to see original riding, but they usually lack in style or other departments. Arnaud is not that kind of rider. He has the style to make all of his technical tricks look really good. This is easily his best edit to date, and it is now one of my favorite edits I've ever seen. So many original tricks to go with his original style. I literally found myself saying "What!" out loud like 4-5 times in this edit. Arnaud worked really hard on this one, so give it a watch!

Micro Australia Tour 2013

Micro really put itself back together after it seemed like they vanished a while back. The guys recently got together and went on an Australia Tour, hitting various parks and street spots along the way. Everyone was going hard, including Tyler Marinovic who was getting it done with one leg in some clips. Was impressed by Wezma for sure, seems like he can ride anything and everything. And Juzzy and BenJs bangers were intense. Worth the watch, check it out below.

Hunter Bechtle- Micro Europe World Tour 2013

Hunter's videos are always insane.  One of the best all around riders for sure.  Combine his talent on the scooter with a guy like BenJ Friant's filming and editing skills and you got one hell of a video.  Hit that play button and enjoy.

Arnaud Marchenoir Welcome to Micro

Arnaud just got on Micro after leaving Sacrifice, so that's why hes on a Sacci scoot in these clips.  He can do a lot of the big park moves while still retaining his own original style.  A lot of the clips had me going "watt".

Boris Germain- Farewell Micro

Boris has left Micro for personal reasons.  It seems he wants to live life without having to represent a company, understandable.  I hope that doesn't slow down his insane progression.  Such a crazy rider, it'll be interesting to see if he does stay unsponsored, and for how long.

Benj Friant Micro Xtreme Snowscoot 2013

BenJ's latest annual snowscoot video has arrived. From huge flip combos to tech sliding tricks, Benjamin shreds this thing.  Gap to 5-0 (tailpress?) was one of my favorite clips.  Last clip is insane too, very few people can do that on a real scooter, much less on a snow scooter over a huge gap.  After 3 and a half minutes of riding, there are two minutes of credits in which he thanks his filmers, Micro, parents, friends, goldfish (RIP), says bla a lot, and then goes on about nothing for the last minute.  However there are some funny clips you might wanna watch, including bails.

Hunter Bechtle Micro Extreme Winter Edit

Hunter delivers in this edit he made for Micro Extreme. Great mix of park and street. I think I saw a rotor whip to rotor whip in there, and there are some good street clips as well. Whip to front board was tight. Check it out below.

Throwback Thursday: Jon Reyes Micro Sponsor Me

So this video sticks out to me for a few reasons. One of them being that it was the first time I had really seen Jon Reyes footage. It was around 2005 that I started hearing about Jon Reyes a bit more, and I had seen a few clips, and was always impressed, but I'd have to wait a bit longer before this edit was released. It was when Micro released the fact that they would be sponsoring US riders, that everyone and their mother made a "Micro Sponsor Me"...including Jon Reyes. While he didn't make the Team, he did produce a great classic edit. You can really see Jon's tech roots in this video.

Currently Jon is known as one of the leading, if not the leading, tech flat rider. He's been a long time rider for Phoenix Pro Scooters, and just got his first signature deck. Definitely came a long way from the stock pro models he's riding in the below video. Check it out.

Hunter Bechtle Welcome to Micro

So Hunter's been doing some sponsor hopping over the past year and finally has ended up on Micro.  This video chronicles what he's been doing since then.  BenJ came over and stayed with him to film and so they got this video done.  Lots of crazy tricks as always with Hunter.

Micro Extreme Welcomes Zac Stewart

Micro is continuing to build up it's Team of top riders around the world, and they recently put Zac Stewart on their Aus Team. Zac is a park rider, and he makes some pretty ridiculous tricks look easy. Heel to double rewind over that quarter to quarter gap was pretty tight. He will be going on an MX Aus Tour coming up as well. Check out his Welcome edit below.

BORIS THE ANIMAL- MICRO PROMO 2012

Uhh...I think someone should tell Boris that you're supposed to land going forward on a flybox landing.  Not backwards.  Seriously I was impressed with the first trick to fakie over a box but then they just kept coming.  Add onto that some classic Frenchy tech combos...and some insane bigger ones (truck to lip down a handrail?) then you got this beast of a video.

"Ethic The Untold Story" The Truth about District and Addict. Also the Birth of Ethic.

Seems strange to think that you might be riding a Deck, that you think is from one company.. when in reality, it was designed for a completely different company, doesn't it??

Well, I will say there are very very few people that will understand the video posted below. No, not because it's in French, but because you guys just won't understand how Marcel (Owner of Eagle-Sport, District, Addict) is. Though I think some of his former "employees" and riders might. Kevin Demay breaks it all down in a very professional manner. From his start in the sport, to starting District and Addict, to the very end. Finally onto the beginning of Ethic.

It's a lengthy video, but I don't think anyone will be turning it off until it's done. You really get a sense of what District is all about. Of what happened with the Owner behind the scenes, and more.

Also enjoy a sneak peek of the Ethic products hopefully set to drop before the end of 2012.

Micro Extreme Europe Tour

Here it is, the full video from the new Micro Extreme Team's recent tour in Europe. Micro Extreme is back in a very serious way, they have put together a Team of absolute killers from all around the world. This video was so sick to watch. Everyone shredded hard, and Taylor Smith killed it with that 1080. Can't wait to see more stuff from the Micro Extreme Team in the future.

Micro Euro Tour Clip of the Day 1,2,3,and 4

Micro is definitely back, and they're making sure everyone knows it. They picked up Team riders from The US, AUS, and parts of Europe and they got them all together for a big tour across Europe. These dudes can ride it all, park, street, rails, anything. You'll also notice right off the bat that these guys have a lot of fun together. They're not one of those Teams where their only "Team" activity is filming, or all at a contest hardly sharing a word together. They make it look fun, and they definitely shred in the process. Check out the 4 videos below, and stay tuned for more.

Ty Alexander- Welcome to Micro

Wow, didn't see this one coming.  Micro has been making moves lately, most recently landing NW local Ty Alexander as their newest US team rider.  Ty is known for his flowy style in the parks, and this video demonstrates that.

Micro Makes a Comeback

Some would say you need to be pretty OG to know, and remember Micro. Don’t worry because that is changing soon with their new line of products, and an entire new Team to represent them in Europe, UK, AUS, and US. Micro is somewhat iconic and remembered in our sport mainly for the metal core wheels they made so many years ago. They were the first real metal core wheels that people started to really buy, despite their expensive price.. But we’ve come a long way since their wheels.

I’m sure some of you also remember their “one piece deck” with the neck tube that had to be bolted on? Which thinking back on now, was one of the first flat sided “box” decks on the market. It’s just a shame it was so heavy haha. The years passed, and the Micro Team faded away, or moved onto other companies, and it took a while, but Micro is back, and this time, they’re here to stay.

The Team has been recreated from the ground up. Not only that, but legend of the sport, BenJ Friant is back with Micro. BenJ spent some time with District, but after countless broken promises, and ridiculous amounts of money stolen from him, he made the decision to leave the company. To go along with the new Team, they have the new scooters, and they’re looking good. Micro will be in events all across the world, from Peru to Mexico, to the USA, and a European Tour. The Swiss company is back, and they intend to push Micro harder than ever.
Below you can check out some photos of the scooter, and also BenJ’s latest edit. It proves again that BenJ is one of the best in this sport, and now that he’s back with Micro we can all expect to see him continue to kill it.
