Christmas came early for anyone who is a fan of tech riding, and Dan Barrett. This is hands down Dan's best edit to date. He put serious work into all of these clips, and it shows. Some of the best tech riding I've seen in a very long time. This is one that will be rewatched over and over. Check it out below.

Desert Run Tour

Waay too many good riders for one edit. Dan Barrett, Jon Devrind, Ryan Upchurch, Raymond Warner, AND Cooper Klaar. If that isn't reason enough to click this video I don't know what is. Get comfy, because it's about 12 minutes long, and it's definitely worth it.

I don't know how Dan can put so many tricks together and make it look so natural and effortless.  Evan's style is equally as effortless. I love scootering and videos like this are one of the many reasons why.

Phoenix at D-Block

If you didn't already know, Pol Acena was down in Oregon with the Phoenix Team. When you put someone like Pol, together with Dan Barrett, and Cooper Klaar.. it goes down. And it was definitely going down at D-Block recently. This was clearly just a chill sesh, but with these guys, even a chill sesh looks damn good. Check it.

A MERE GROVE; A PLANET

Conor Davidson put this edit together of him, Erik Feenstra, and Dan Barrett riding a skatepark and a couple street spots.  I think my favorite part was the clips on the parking blocks, shows you don't need a fancy park to have fun riding.  Music also by Conor, and his friend Mike Belsito.

Bangers in the Bunker

Some of the top riders in the NW got together at the Bunker section of The Lumberyard and made this video...park is new to scooters and they just shut it down already.  Even Stan Smirnoff gets in on the action with a ledge combo.  And I'm with Coop...how do you whip rewind?!?

Dan said these clips weren't good enough for his next edit, I don't get that, cause a lot of these clips were fire. Dan has been one of my favorite riders to watch for years now, and it's easy to see why. His tech riding is some of the best in the sport, and this B footage edit, has me stoked for his next real edit to drop.

Phoenix Scooters Combo Contest March 2013

I would have so entered this a few years ago.  The details are in the video, but to reiterate, make a video, any length, showing your best tech combos, and post it on Phoenix's facebook page by Sunday the 25th.  Top three places get prizes.  After Dan and Jon explain the contest, they show some ridiculous clips to get you inspired.

Phoenix in Barcelona Interview Coming Soon

Dan Barrett and Evan Larson went over to Barcelona and met up with Pol Acena for the Barcelona Street Jam. Inside Scooters is going to be doing an interview with these dudes, equipped with photos, and an edit from the dudes. Stay tuned for this.

Dan Barrett 2012 Edit

For years Dan has made his mark time and time again as one of the sports leading tech riders. No matter what he is riding from a mini ramp, to a manual pad, he will throw his signature style all over it. 2012 has treated Dan very nice, he traveled a lot this year, of course has his signature deck with Phoenix, got an interview in Dialed Issue 3, and as some may know is starting his own wheel company. My respect grew for Dan a lot after reading his interview in Dialed, which you guys can catch in January. He truly is an all around good guy, and one of my favorite riders to watch hands down. R.I.P. Stevon Wilson Tribute ft Dan Barrett, Jake Hershey, and Ryan Upchurch

In memory of Stevon Wilson his two long time friends Dan Barrett and Jake Hershey, got together with another one of Steve's friends Ryan Upchurch, and they made this edit for him. Gotta love how all of them can't keep the smiles off of their faces while they recall memories of Stevon. That tells you just how much they love him, and how they remember him.

Dan Barrett and Ryan Gould Scooter Check 2012

Phoenix Pro's Dan Barrett and Ryan Gould filmed these scooter checks while at Woodward West. The clips though were filmed at the Riverside Scooter Zone Skatepark. Got a few really good clips towards the end. Also wondering, with Ryan Gould continuing to get better and better, when are we going to see his first signature product from Phoenix?

Phoenix Pro rider Josh Toy, put this edit together of footage from the Phoenix Team at Woodward West. Really liked the edit, and it has Capron Funk's double front flip which was really cool to see. Needed more dirt footage though, seemed like only Josh was getting down, gotta stick Dan or Jon on there and see what's up haha. Check it out below.

So basically Dan and Steve are giving everyone two weeks to film a video showing why they should get one of Dan's sig decks.  It's not about your skill, but creativeness and why you think you should get one.  So yeah, as Steve said, get your video cameras rollin, they need footy!

Jon Reyes & Dan Barrett practicing for the ISA International Championships

Here we have Jon and Dan having some fun in Times Square, NYC.  This is the kinda thing that's missing from the New York scene videos.  I remember the first Scooyork video I ever saw had the crew just cruising the square at night in and out of the traffic and it was so cool.  This is a little different than that but still cool.  

Woodward East Scooter Fest 2012

Josh Toy shot and edited this video from Woodward East. There is plenty of Megaramp footage from everyone. The song sounds super familiar, but I can't place it. Everyone kills it, but this really showcases just how much of a powerhouse Raymond Warner is. To throw down the tricks hes throwing down over the mega is pretty ridiculous. And there is some quarterpipe air footy as well. Really sick edit.

Throwback Thursday: The Philly Crew Video Journal 8

This video earned the Throwback Thursday spot for so many different reasons. Not only does it feature riders that helped put the East Coast on the map when it came to riding, but it features them at a really important time of Scootering. During the years of 2006 and 2007 I guess you can say most riders were really starting to find themselves.

Dan Barrett lowered his bars a bit, and his style improved ten fold. Matt McKeen was clearly starting to separate himself from everyone else in the street game. We would see riders like Cory Winard, Frank Coler, and Mike McGowan killing it, who we can't see riding anymore. The same can be said about Philly legends Casey Murphy and Brian Boston. Everything in this edit makes it so fun to watch. You got everyone on old school Razor models, no aftermarket parts, two killer songs, and a lot of good riding from some OGs that paved the way for a lot of riders today. Check it out.

Dan Barretts Setting Records...Guinness World Records

Phoenix Pro Scooter's Dan Barrett doesn't mess around. He's now an actual Guinness World Record Holder. Pretty sick! Congrats Dan!
