East2West Last Nitros Sale

That's right, East2West has the last Nitros to be made for sale. These are not going to be in production anymore. So if you want to get your hands on one for whatever reason, East2West is the place to go.

Black Momba??

Well.. this video was sent in by John Eron, and there was no description or anything. Just the video. As if the song wasn't awkward enough, the style of this little shredder only helped the experience I had watching this. He shreds, but definitely keeps it looking awkward haha. I mean look at that triple whip air haha. Sick video though, I hope we get to see another edit from this kid with some more work put into it.

LIT'd: Dakota Dodge

This kid has a sickk raw style.   Some of the footy is over a year old but its still good.  Definitely lookin forward to seeing more clips of him.  Oh, and Josh Young says he doesn't push mongo anymore.  +1 to Dakota.

Best of Luke Painter

Luke has definitely become one of my favorite riders to watch in the past couple years. He may not be the cleanest rider or have the most style, but he is definitely fun to watch. Sooo many combos and tech tricks. This video is made up of clips from as far back as 2005 to 2011. Honestly really glad this was almost 6 minutes long, the whole thing was good.

New Twisted Scoots Shop in Brea

One of the things we are severely lacking in our sport, are walk in shops. Twisted will be opening another new shop in the Southern California area. All Twisted shops are professionally run, and carry all of the popular brands in the sport today. The complete address is below, head over there and check it out as soon as it opens on Monday, February 13th.

Got a couple Scooter Zone videos today. One of them is by OG Josh Toy, showing you guys how to Unlookback and Unturndown. The next is from Scooter Zone Aus's Kevin Austin, one of the smoothest riders around, with a scooter check. Check em out below. Both include clips after the How To, and SC.

In the mean time check out this video of VertX Team Manager, Dom Marconi machining some pegs. Looks pretty sick. Man, if I got MY hands on that machine, wow....

Aussie Up and Comers Jami Chan and Darcy Altavilla

Thanks in big part to Aaron Bransdon, Kevin Austin, Jon Archer, and Jackson Manzie and the rest of the Friendly Crew, tech/street riding is growing really well in Australia. Below I got two up and comers in the scene, and they're off to a good start. In Jami's video, at the beginning, I totally put my hands on my knees after that knee slider haha. Check em out below.

Thanks to Kevin Austin for the Jami video.

Breaking News: Scooters In 2012 X-Games? ***UPDATE***

As you probably have seen by now, there is a plethora of buzz on the social networking sites over rumors of scooters getting into the X-Games.  From what I can tell Scooter Hut is the first to break the news, without many (or any) details at all.  I've yet to see any real details or even confirmation from X organizers.  I do know that the ISA (governing body consisting of many of the sports companies) have been pushing to get scooters involved in the games.

But rest assured, if I hear anything new, I'll post it up here on Inside Scooters.

***UPDATE***

"Dear All, My name is Scott and I am the owner of Scooter Hut. We allow some of our staff to work as administrators on our Facebook page, which normally works well for us as a means to keep in touch with our customers and friends. Today, one of my staff overheard a private conversation regarding the involvement of scooters in the xGames and wrongly decided to make an announcement on our Facebook Page in relation to this before running it by me. There is no doubt scooters will be in the xGames at some point, but we have no "official" announcement as to when this will be, so I am sorry if we have given false hope of a 2012 inclusion. On a more positive note, I can confirm we have been in talks with Nitro Circus this week and as a result of these discussions, we will have at least two scooter riders performing in every show of this year's Nitro Circus Tour of Australia. One giant leap at a time for this beautiful sport :)"

What I can say is this. I am glad that Scott announced that. Also let me say that if there is any negotiations about Scootering in the XGames, I hope that Scott is the one doing the negotiating. I know him really well, and he knows what is good for the sport. Surely you guys remember Nitro Circus last year, which he is obviously doing again this year.

So yeah calm down people haha. False Alarm!

Brian Griffin- Welcome to Fuzion

Brian recently got on the Fuzion Pro team.  This guy is pretty much a new name to me but he shows that he has some skill and definitely potential.  He has variety for sure, stacking clips in both the parks and the streets.

Tom Mattingly Park Edit

Tom Mattingly basically just shuts it down in this video. Whips and spins both ways with ease. It's a really sick edit, and it definitely needs more views.

Thanks to TWhee for sending it over.

MGP 2012 Nitro In Depth Look + R Willy Double Flair to Wood

In the below video you can get a really up close look at the new 2012 Nitro End of Days Complete scooter.

Also recently Ryan Williams landed his first Double Flair to wood. Landed a bit low, but knowing Ryan, it's just a matter of time before he's throwing these with ease. Check it.

p.s. And this is why I love Ryan Williams hahahaha

Spencer Steed: Santa Clarita Scooterzone Box Edit

Here is a video of Spencer Steeze doin things on the SC SZ box.  Shot quite well through the lens of Josh Toy, and edited just as nicely to match.  I don't think I'll ever get used to Spencer riding more than 16 wide hahah.

Tommy Daddono

Tdadd says he wasn't going hard enough in these clips. This footage is all within the past winter and fall, while he's been going through a bit of a transitional stage in his riding.  I dig it.

Boxes Limited - Recycled

Boxes decided to toss up all the promos into one big edit. Now that's how you recycle. So sick to see the whole Team riding in one edit. Really makes you understand how well represented Boxes Limited is. Great watch.

Tilt Scooters Presents: Tyler Wheeland

Tyler surprises me everytime he gets on a scooter. He's really come full circle as a rider, in the past three years. His wallrides are easily some of the best in the sport, if not the best, and you couldn't come close to his passion for Harry Potter. He's one of my closest friends I've made in the sport, and seeing him throwdown harder than he ever has in this edit below, really gets me stoked. Get ready to rape the replay button with this one.

Calling it now. Without a doubt one of my top three favorite videos of 2012.

THE CLIFF IS HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!%!!!!!1!!!!!!!

Ro and Alejandro Capote

There's something really tight about brothers that ride together. Most of the time you got an older brother, and a younger brother. That is how it is with Ro and Alejandro, and many other "Brothers" in the sport. Capron and Cory Funk, Josh and Joe Kish, uhhhh.. *Insert other brothers here* Ro and Alejandro are from NY, so naturally they're holding it down in the streets a lot. While Ro is pretty obviously shutting it down, it's good to see that younger brother Alejandro is also on the come up. Check out older brother Ro, and younger brother Alejandro's latest edits below.

Thanks to Bryant Colon for the videos.
