Throwback Thursday Steven Sanchez Sponsor Vid

You guys might recognize Sanchez because he spent some time on the Proto Team, but I was a fan of Sanchez far before that. Sanchez has some of the best style on and off a scooter I've seen to date. He just makes whatever he's doing on his scooter look damn good. For a long time this edit below was made so it couldn't be embedded on a website, now that it is, I'm definitely posting. Sanchez doesn't ride much anymore to my knowledge, but he drops in on ISB every once in a while. So whatt up Sancheezmo.

Black Diamond Dead of Winter Scooter Jam Edit

Josiah McClements made this edit of the Dead of Winter Scooter Jam comp at Black Diamond which went down last week. Tons of heavy hitters were there, and the comp looked good. Wondering if this is going to become an annual competition, it'd be cool to see it grow. Check it out below.

Hella Grip HSHB Addison McNaughton RAW

These raw footage videos are so cool.  Gives you a sense of what the rider goes through to get a clip.  In this one, we get to see a classic Addy freakout.  That curved double peg is still so sick, props to him for getting it even after getting worked.

Jona Humbel Welcome to Unfair

There's nothing unfair about Jona getting on, congrats to him.  One of the coolest dudes in scootering for sure.  And yes, this means Unfair has now branched out to the US, and will be releasing more edits from new team riders in the near future.

Envy at Woodward

Third Woodward video in a row, we're on a roll here.  The guys said this video is "a little relaxed compared to what we usually do," but it was just as good.  Jessee really came through, that 270 bar to fakie smith was on the money.

Woodward West 2013 Footage

Capron Funk was there at Woodward for the Scooter Weekend and captured this footage of the going-ons there.  Looked like a fun time, as always.  Shoutout to Scooter Mom, Kim Funk, for organizing the weekend and making it possible.  Also shoutout to Alex Steadman for having a DTDF patch on his jean jacket.

VEX Mayhem Tour

This was awesome.  Vex went on a tour to Brisbane for 10 days, and even with some inclement weather accomplished a lot.  Super good vibes, good riding, well done video.  Such a nasty lens hit in the beginning, huge bummer.

Hugo now gets his swag shirts and other fine clothing items from Exode.  He put these clips together to announce that he is on now.  So much flow, last clip was so good.

WISE Planet Coping- Vol. 2

This is a super good montage of the Wise crew (Arthur Blond, Travis House, Alexis Cuvillier, Balthazar Neveu, Marc Pauls) as well as a bunch of friends (Toinou, Lambou, Martouz, Francky, Ruben, Fran, Jules, Jerem, L'assassin, Lyes).  Some insane spots and fun looking park setups.

These are some clips that Dan sent in for Hella Grip, featuring a lot of both park and street.  Super clean and super tech as always.  That bar lip 3 to manual combo was so unexpected.

Fasen Scooters | The Brendon Smith Video

Bsmith's latest video is a 12 (TWELVE) minute long marathon of mindblowing trick after mindblowing trick after mindblowing trick.  It amazes me how someone can progress so much while not actually progressing at all.  Brendon has certainly stuck to his roots, doing what hes done best, not venturing out too far from that style.  As for him being better than Kota, like some people are already saying?  Nah.

Conor Davidson Krush Clips

Konor killing it with some kool klipz at Krush.  Back lip 3 was done right and proper.  Also the deck is a v1, so don't get too excited.  Its a 22 inch long v1 at that, and he already has a v2 on the way.

Kota On Ellen

So, what do you guys think?  I'm bummed that he had to go out and talk to her while wearing the pads and helmet, but I think he came across as a nice kid at least.  A lot could probably be said but I will leave it at that I'm sure Kota will continue to get more and more people into and aware the sport with this appearance and any future ones too.

Serjey Noga Welcome to TSI

Serjey is definitely back and killing it. I first met him back in Washington, when he was like 4 feet tall, and just a little dude, and he already had skill. He's riding for TSI now, and looks like the deck is a perfect fit for him, cause he shreds hard in this edit. My kind of park edit for sure.

On the come up, Ricky Cox, Vince Pernas, and Robby Mierzejewski

Ricky has been around for a while, but he's starting to try and push his street game. He's getting there, but he's gotta pick up the pace with some of those tricks and lines. If he starts doing that, his edits are going to be a lot more enjoyable. Check it out.




Vince Pernas is holding it down in Miama Florida, and he's doing a good job. Street edit, with an overall good vibe. Editing could use some work, but his tricks keep the video going. I'd like to see his next edit for sure.




Finally and young boy whos name I won't even try and pronounce, Robby Mierzejewski. One thing I noticed when I saw this kids riding was how it looked like he was trapped in an indoor skatepark, and should be released out into the streets. His raw style reminds me a lot of guys like Issac Miller. Lots of speed and seems like they can ride just about anything.

Chicago Scramble 2

The 2nd edition of Chicago Scramble was released today, this one featuring Kirk Svensson, Conor Davidson, and the bossman, Collin Snoek. I can't believe Kirk let go of his scooter not once but twice hitting the same car.  And still managed to go back and get the trick hahah.

Riley Hughes | Express Yourself

Riley is a boss.  That banger seriously came out of nowhere.  Don't miss the mcwhip flat, nobody does those, especially flat.  Also there is some sweet b-roll of him doing the worm, so yeah.

Lucky Scooters | Blake Bailor Faceplant

I've heard before that Blake has a knack for nailing the ground with his face.  Sadly I've never been able to witness it in person but this'll have to work for now.  If you listen he says "I'm ok" so it sounds like he's fine.
