Now we got the same guy who just taught you guys how to Footjam, Julio Oceguera in the SZ Go Pro Week # 5. What's there to say about Julio. So much talent, whether in street or park. In this video during the clips where he's riding the OC, and the camera is sitting on his bars, is def. an angle I'd like to see in more of the SZ Go Pro videos.

I can't even count that high, whats wrong with this kid??? Doin it for Blunt, ECX, and Inside. Apparently he was only going for the quint whip, but accidentally stuck the sextuple. This kid is seriously messed up haha.
Edit: I wasn't gonna post this saying I thought it was only five but many other people are agreeing that it is "just five". Like BK said in the comments, if you count from when the back wheel passes by his feet, its definitely 5. Regardless, doing that many whips while upside down is still super crazy, I don't think anyone but him even does flair quads? Someone can correct me on that though.

Tyler showed up at Woodinville skatepark one day and was filmed for this video by Keith T. Really awesome filming, looks like he was using a glidecam and skates at the same time. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more edits of Tyler like this...oh and the riding. Yeah its Tyler Bonner, you already know its good.

Yup, ELYTS which has been getting a tremendous amount of attention since their arrival is heading out on an East Coast Tour. ELYTS riders Zig Short and new rider Cory Vanlew will be hitting up competitions, parks, and street spots on the East Coast. Jordan recently rode some parks and spots in Ohio while with some other midwest locals. This is footage that he got while he was on the trip. Most of the tricks that were landed were fairly easily for him, which I think is a testament to how good Jordan is getting. Some great clips in here for sure though, from one of my favorite riders. Yes, I liked him even when he just rode in his driveway.

Well I need you guys again. The Esco skatepark is an amazing park for not just scooter riders, but bmxers, skaters, and inline skaters. Well this park is now in danger of being shut down, we can help change that. We can't just sit by and let these amazing parks dissappear. So help Escondido Park stay open!

This was a great video, Lots of awesome riding and i really enjoyed the editing and song choice. That last trick was awesome!! This trip was for the 1st freestyle scooter contest in Neuilly. The trip consisted of a session with the Dissidence Team at Bercy, night session at the Neuilly's Bridge and finally the contest.
So you may have heard that Blunt recently added two new members to their American team. The first of whom being New York City’s Jonathan Zegarra. Jon is a super tech street rider, and rides with Proto’s Jon Reyes a lot, whose tech style definitely reflects through in Jon Z. Check out his day edit here-
The next rider to be put on Blunt is an upcoming park rider from southern California. He hasn’t been around the scene long but you’d never guess that from his riding. At just 15 years old he is already has the skills rivaling many of the country’s best. His name is Michael Knudson. So you just got on Blunt. What made you want to be on the team?
I think blunt is an amazing company with amazing riders and parts and felt i could promote and represent blunt much more than i could any other company
What are you feeling now that you're on the team? What are you looking forward to about being on the team?
I feel great to be part of such a great company and now being on im really looking forward to traveling and meeting/riding with so many new people
Watching a few videos of you it seems that you're into doing a lot of different park combos. What influences you to ride that way?
I would say when i first started riding raymond warner was a influence considering he only rode park and i rode with him so much. I don't really know what influenced me to ride the way I do I just like doing a lot of combos haha.
What are some tricks you're currently working on?
Im not really working on any specific tricks im just trying to become a more well rounded rider..
Any goals or plans for the future?
I plan on progressing and making a lot of videos.

You can love him, you can hate him, or you can love to hate him, odds are it won't matter to Tyler Wheeland. He's one of the riders who started from the bottom, and has worked hard to get where he is today. One of my personal favorites, and close friends, so it was a real pleasure to get this interview done with Tyler before he takes off to France in under a week.
Steven: Twhee, hows it been going dude?
Tyler: Pretty good man, just got back from a trip to Arizona with Alex (Steadman). Filmed some gnarly clips of Lil Jon.
Steven: So awhile ago it was announced that you and LSP Team rider Stefan Hefner are going to France for the street jam, How did this happen?
Tyler: So JanDiv hit me up on facebook about LSP sponsoring the event and asked about Lucky possibly sending a few riders out there and they would cover us for a place to stay and stuff. I talked to Brian about it and it all kinda fell into place with Stefan and I being the ones sent out there. I do independent studies and Stefans pretty flexible so uhh yeah.
Steven: Being a known street rider, what does a trip to France to mean you?
Tyler: Its pretty insane. It kinda just proves that hard work pays off.
Steven: So I gotta ask dude, what is your exact set up right now? harhar... Just kidding dude. LSP Dvd 2, there seems to be a little bit of hype starting up, is there anything you can say about the upcoming dvd
Tyler: Well dude i am riding all neon pro ride parts with a K2 hang 5 deck. Madd gear shoes REPPING holla dog.
Steven: Figured bro. Figured.
Tyler: As far as the DVD goes, were just doing things right this time. Its not a project we are taking lightly and i've already filmed clips of some of the dudes that are next level. Everyone is progressing constantly and its just wild going out with the Lucky crew.
Steven: So it seems like you've been pushing yourself harder lately, hard 180 over a 9 rail first try...Do you got plans to continue pushing your limits with your street riding?
Tyler: Haha that was pretty wild because i don't normally do tricks first try but i guess it happens. I def. wanna push my limits for street riding. I feel like the rest of the Lucky team is way ahead of me so it pushes me to ride in a way that will stick out even if Im not as good as the rest of the team.
Steven: So you obviously ride with Stefan a lot, going to France with him, what do you think we can expect to see from him?
Tyler: The gnarliest. I dont know how big those guys know. But i know Stefan is insane. He scooter flipped Hollywood Highschool 16 stair first try. Stefan and I actually didn't get a long for a long time. Even when we were both on Lucky together i don't know why but i couldn't stand him then we kinda just grew into good friends. Just for the record, Stefan can do way more than just Scooter flip down gnarly things, you'll see!
Steven: Haha ok ok, I'll take your word for it bro. Seems like the guys in France don't really know what they're in store for.
Tyler: I dunno, from what i have heard and seen they are years ahead of us.
Steven: Guess you'll find out in a week?
Tyler: No, i wont. Idiot. This should be called. "Good questions by Steven Tongon.
Steven: Wait is this going in the interview?
Tyler: Yes, next question.
Steven: Damn. So going to France is something that a lot of riders in all action sports dream of. You're going to be able to check that off your list of places to go. What other places are still on that list that you hope to make it out to someday?
Tyler: Barcelona, I've been dreaming about Skating there since i was like 8. I am going to San Fran next month and I've always wanted to bomb those hills so Im siked!
Steven: Barcelona, and San Francisco? Two more highly regarded street spots. With all this street, I gotta ask, do you even enjoy riding park anymore?
Tyler: Haha of course! Its still riding a scooter. I mean usually if I'm at the skatepark i just kick it and talk with people or whatever but park is awesome when its ridden right.
Steven: Haha for sure. So how about those flat seshes??!
Tyler: I can double whip sometimes... dick move Steven.
Steven: So, Tyler...July 15th coming up. Now what does that mean to you..(And most likely to me too)
Tyler: Oh you know... just waiting in line all day for the premiere of the last Harry Potter movie. I seriously can't wait!
Steven: I bet man. Do you think we got more closet Harry Potter fans in this sport than we currently know of?
Tyler: Oh dude forsure we do!

By now word has leaked that Chris Gascoigne and Phoenix Pro Scooters have gone their seperate ways. I took the time to sit down with Chris and ask him a few questions regarding the matter. Check out the interview below.
Steven – So, lets just get right to the point... you left Phoenix, is everything good between you two?
Chris - Everything is fine actually, Phoenix is an awesome company, it was just time for me personally, to do what's right for me.
Steven - You say "What's right for you". What exactly did you mean by that.
Chris - What i meant is, Deep down i'm a californian and that is where i need to be to be truly happy. I wasn't preforming to the best of my abilities at Phoenix because deep down i wasn't truly happy. So i had to make a choice and do what was best for me.
Steven - That's very respectable. I understand you had a signature deck through Phoenix, what will happen with that?
Chris - The deck is going to be discontinued. I am sure Phoenix will release future decks in the white color so I will be happy to see that.
Steven - What's your favorite memory while with Phoenix that you can recall?
Chris - Ah, I have many but the one that sticks out the most would have to be, being in the office in our meetings about product development, the insight to quality design that Phoenix has is amazing. Being there and learning and sharing ideas as a rider to help develop and create awesome product is my favorite memory
Steven - So Chris, do you have any plans for the future?
Chris - At the moment, i have a few doors open for me, but right now I just want to ride and have fun. Reconnect with my scooter and enjoy the sunshine and riding with all my friends.
Steven - Do you have any last words you'd like to say?
Chris - Yes I do, I just want to take this opportunity to thank Phoenix for all the support they have given me. It was and still is very appreciated. i would also like to thank my friends and family for supporting me.
All footage that Jake has gotten this year. Jake continues to progress with some insane tricks. That first trick is so sick. Seems like its been a long time since he last dropped footage, I can't wait for more.
Big Time Scootering is one of the biggest competition circuits in our sport today. The next stop for the tour is in Linz, Austria. Where I just got news that MGP UK's Terry Price, and MGP Australia's Ryan Williams, will be showing up. Two of the best, showing up at one of the years biggest contests. I can only imagine the ridiculous stuff that's going to go down.

This past Easter weekend a bunch of guys from all over the Midwest met up in Ohio to ride, film, and just have a good time together. I myself roadtripped it alone to Tommy Daddono's house, where I met up with Tom as well as Matt Rittler from Wisconsin and Owen Wilson and Dylan Dorfler. From there we drove 6 hours to a hotel in Columbus, where we waited for Spencer Steed, Brian Amato, James Shaheen, Josh Young, Brandon Rowell, and Kelly Zmijewski to arrive. They finally got there, as well as David Veltum and Dylan Kasson, and we drove 2 more hours down to Florence, Kentucky to ride Ollie's indoor park. We unfortunately got kicked out (paid for a 2 hour sesh and rode for 3) and went back home.
The next day we took advantage of the rain-less weather and rode one of Dylan's local parks, Powell, for a while. Everyone was definitely hyped on that session, it was basically scooter riders only at that park until a few skaters showed up. But even they were hyped on what everyone was throwing down. Speaking of which, if you haven't watched the video yet, Ohio OG (and unsponsored) David Veltum shut down the session with his tricks down the step down, he still shreds so hard. And of course DK did some cool tricks. After we finished up there we headed to Cici's Pizza for some grub and then drove off to Ohio Dreams. Tommy Daddono was vital in getting scooters allowed there and having scooter camp there and so we all were able to get in for cheap. A lot of us were hyped for the foam pit but we all got scared off after Tommy slipped in some puddle in front of the rollin and almost put his face through the launch, so we went up the hill to the outdoor section. It was pretty wet still from all the rain but we managed to ride and get some good clips. When we ran out of light we went back into the main park area, where Dylan Kasson was putting on a show. He and I seshed the sickest little 4 stair there, that was definitely a lot of fun haha. We stayed there for maybe a half hour later than we should have and finally got kicked out after getting a bro shot of all the guys who were there. Then we had to head back to the hotel for our last night in Ohio.
After an interesting night, we all packed up to leave. We said our goodbyes, and went on our way. On the way back to Chicago, we looked up some parks on the Internet to see if we could find somewhere to ride. I noticed that the Rob Dyrdek Street Plaza happened to be only a half hour away, and immediately jumped on the chance to ride there. The other guys were a little hesitant at first but after getting there and riding for a bit, they were all stoked. Matt threw down a few sick rail clips despite having cracked Rad bars and I even did a handrail haha. Finally we decided we had better get going since Dylan had a train to catch back in Chicago to get home. I stayed overnight at Tommy's and we rode his local, Lake Bluff, for a little while before I had to leave for my own house.
Overall this was definitely one of my favorite trips I've been on. Met a lot of new riders, was impressed by a lot of the guys, made some new friends, rode some amazing parks. Cannot wait to go back again, or at least to ride with everyone again...which I should be doing at the end of the month. Plans are being made to have Chicago/WI trip soon, get stoked.

Two great riders, who also got two really different styles. I love Scott's riding because you really don't see too many UK riders doing three trick combos like Scott is doing. I enjoy "tricklist" riders just as much as I enjoy other aspects and styles of riding.
Danny has been a favorite of mine to watch for a while now. He is just so clean with everything he does. It's always a treat to watch him in the streets. I think we can expect big things from both of these guys. So keep checking Inside-Scooters for more updates on Scott and Danny.
Haha, sometimes ya run into technical difficulties downloading that S60 intro, so what do you do? Film your computer screen DUH! Haha. Anyways, Ricky Cox is a rider I really enjoy watching.
