How to Whip Front Scooter Flip with Capron Funk

We don't post too many tutorials now a days, but Capron is a good friend of mine, and this video really showcases how good Capron is with combos. He does indeed teach you how to whip front scoot, but then he goes even further by showing you various combos and variations of whip front scoots. Pretty good stuff.

Capron Funk Goodbye California Edit

Thinking of Capron living anywhere other than Cali seems really strange to me. But that's what's happening. Capron is going to be heading off to Pennsylvania for 3 months to do some shows. One thing I've always liked about Capron, is that despite being in a sport where everyone is trying to ride like someone else, Capron has always stuck to his roots and rides exactly how he wants. Capron Funk Beginning of 2013

Since Capron joined with Sacrifice Scooters, it seems like he's been dropping  a lot of edits, which isn't a bad thing if you're a fan of a lot of combos and tech tricks. I've always liked Caprons riding, and he's such a nice dude on and off his scooter. Check out his latest edit below.

Capron Funk/Kodye Gregory Woodward Edit

As promised, here is some more footage from Camp Woodward this weekend. Kodye recently got on Sacrifice so he along with Capron (who was already on) made a video.  You've probably already heard that Captron landed a double front this weekend, so you can see it for yourself at the end of the video.

Capron Funk Welcome to Sacrifice Edit

Well it took some time for Capron to find a new Team after he left MGP, but he finally decided to go with Sacrifice. Sacrifice hasn't made much noise in the US yet, but we'll see if that changes in 2013. Capron has always been known for being able to jam multiple tricks into one air, and he does so in this edit quite a few times.

The Funk Brothers

Capron and Corey are two of the most infamous brothers in scootering. They've been around for a long time now, and have both come up in the sport together. Scooter Zone was a big part of that for both brothers, but Capron eventually found his place with MaddGear, and Corey is still a part of the Zone.

One thing we don't see much from them are edits, sad, but true. Chris Blanton recently filmed and edited this video, and it is one of the few that showcase the two brothers riding together. Their styles are similar, with a lot of combos being thrown together, and if you're into that kind of riding you will definitely enjoy this edit. Check it out below.

MGP Uk Christmas Parties + MGP West Coast Signing Pictures

MGP isn't just big in Australia, it's big everywhere, The UK included. The MGP UK Team is stacked with talent, and in the below video you'll get to see some of that. They recently made this edit made up of the MGP UK riders + The Scoot Mag guys who covered the events. You really get a feel for just how much the kids out their love MaddGear. Some bangers in here as well, and Terry Price footage which is always a treat.




Also recently, Ryan Williams and Terry Price of MGP Aus and MGP UK have been in California, and they've been quite busy. Both rode in the SD6 competition, and they also did a signing at West Coast Ride Shop. Below are some photos of that, and it doesn't get any better than Terry Price in a Penguin Hat, does it?

Capron Funk Welcome to Maddgear Edit + Bonus Ryan Williams Double Flair to Wood

Capron Funk has been on MGP for a while now, but only recently finished his Welcome to Maddgear Edit. Capron has so many different trick combos, and does all of them pretty effortlessly. I don't think the video showed Capron's expertise at hang 5s though, because he is definitely one of the best in the game at them. Check out his edit below.





In other news down in Australia...Ryan Williams has started to take his double flairs to wood. How long before he lands them? Your guess is as good as mine. Rest assure when he does land it, you guys will be able to check it out here on Inside-Scooters.

MGP West Coast Tour Teaser

MGP recently took a tour of the West Coast, riding various spots and parks along the way. The entire tour was captured on video, and the full edit will contain some insane riding.

In Buffalo

Status update on my trip-I arrived in Buffalo, NY for XW4 today, after 14 hours in car. I met the Funk family, Jeremy Beau, Chandler Dunn, and Raymond Warner, as well as Rigel Fuller's mom, at a restaurant. Turns out they're at the same hotel as me, and so we rode the parking lot for a bit. Between Raymond singing constantly, Corey peeing on cars off a bridge, playing but not finishing games of scoot with Capron and Jeremy, I had a lot of fun. Gonna go early to the park tomorrow, can't wait, hope to meet a lot of people there.

To everyone coming tomorrow, have a safe trip, can't wait to meet everybody.

The End is Near.

That's right, the end of school is almost here. My last days are Tuesday and Wednesday, so after that I'll be able to start posting a lot more here on IS. I've been busy the past few weeks with soccer, and end of the year projects/etc. But now that soccer is done, and school is almost done, I'll have a lot more free time to be working on stuff for the blog. Our upcoming projects include more PROTO interviews and an interview with Fuzion regarding the new Spencer Hawk H2 Scooter, as well as other future projects.
