Three short edits from riders from different parts of the world. Who are all great riders, or will soon be great riders.
Starting off we got Ryan Gould and his two friends Michael Knudson and Chris Harris shredding his box. Just some good old box shredding. The banger is just beautiful.
Next up is a young rider who I see a lot of promise from. He's got a really clean style. I featured his first edit on IS a while ago, and now we got his second. I'd like to see a longer edit in the future, with a bit more time put into it. Hope we can see one soon.

Wrapping this 3 for 1 up is an edit featuring some of Vienna's best. The best part about it, is that these riders are all unsponsored. The park, while it doesn't look like much, is what these guys got. Watching the video makes it clear that they definitely know how to shred it.

Don't get it twisted, there aren't many riders from Iowa.. but there are a few. Jordan Jasa and Issac Miller to name a few. Well Zach Johnston is a close friend of both of them and rides with them all the time. Which explains the blend of styles in his riding, with the street and also tech side of his riding. Is he ready to use "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead...not quite yet. But I think if he keeps shredding, he might be able to pull it off. Check the video out below.
Normally here at Inside-Scooters we will post all things scooter related. Well to me this relates simply because we all can relate to the above video, any action sport can. The Jamo Jam contest in Australia is one of the biggest events for our sport every year. Top riders from around the world show up to compete against one another in a competition that is going to be packed with some of our sports top talent.
Another thing to note is that this year, Scooter Zone is going to be in the house. The following SZ riders will be heading down under to compete in the JJ3 contest, and represent Scooter Zone.
Nick Darger Raymond Warner Capron Funk (MGP USA) and last but definitely not least, Corey Funk.
Justin never ceases to amaze me. The most ridiculous tricks down the biggest sets, and some of the most tech combos you'll ever see. Continuing to one up himself, makes me wonder when he's going to reach his limit...so far though it seems like he won't be hitting it anytime soon.

One of the things I wish we had more of in the sport are ride days. Basically a ride day is when a company heads out to a spot or skatepark and throws a mini event. There are usually prizes given away by the company and these tend to be a lot of fun for everyone that attends.
Victory Scooters Inc. is throwing another ride day, after their last one was a good success. Below is more information on that.

Now I don't know about you guys, but one of the things I couldn't stand was when you were riding and your clamp would get loose, and you gotta go and retighten it. FSP hopes to have the solution to that problem with their new quad clamp. For more details read below.
Although the FSP Quad Clamp inherited a common four bolt clamp look, its distinct characteristics make it exceptional. The top half provides a strong double vice to secure the clamp to the bars while the lower half is split to provide two separate points of tension. Because relief cuts in bars vary in size and length, it was determined that this split ultimately allowed for optimized clamping ability.
An attractive anodized finish and a laser etched logo was used to enhance the high grade aircraft aluminum construction.
Four black oxide, grade-8 bolts make sure the clamp retains maximum holding strength.
Two Size Options Available: Standard Size (31.8mm) – Fits 1 ¼ OD bars For use with threaded fork configurations such as Razor Ultra Pro, MGP Team Edition scooters.
Over-sized (34.9mm) – Fits 1 3/8 OD bars For use with threadless fork configurations with H.I.C.(Hidden Internal Compression).

Matt Rittler, and Zero Gravity's Jon Knudtson throw down together in this nice edit. Majority of the clips are of Jon Knudtson, which I have no problem with. Since joining ZG I've seen a real change in Jon's riding and progression. The same can be said with Matt Rittler, although you don't see many clips in this video...rest assured that he is one of the most dialed riders coming up right now. Check out the edit below.
Wow...I like this a lot better than some of Joe's more recent videos. Loving all the nose manual combos, nose manny 3 over a pyramid? Get out of here dude. This guy has so much skill, glad to see him putting it to good use (other than doing more more more multi-trick air and footjam combos).

Two of Blunt's Australian riders tripped it down to Melbourne to ride and film for a weekend. Aaron of course comes through with some great street riding like usual but Wazzeh also shows off his street skills too. Really awesome to see some new clips from that guy, its been too long. Last trick was ridiculous.
"So for the past couple of weekends I have been working on a documentary on scootering involving some local riders (Eric Ostrom, Tyler Garcia, Connor Love and Dan Safe) for my TV ROP class. It is mainly about the sport in general and their involvement in the sport. It is 4 legitimate interviews, B-roll and riding footage( Estimated time - 10-5 min). I was planning on showing riding during the interviews and having a separate riding segment in the middle that is just a solid montage. I have an opportunity for you IS readers tho, if you have any recent clips that either are unreleased or are in raw GOOD quality you can e-mail them to jnathan373@yahoo.com to be featured in a riding segment. I am putting a lot of work into this project and it is going to be edited and online by Monday because it is due and I am in the final stages of the project. I am looking for solid clips that are filmed well. I'm not going to put clips that I dint like into the video. If you check Inside-Scooters, or know me in general, you probably know how much I like watching Jon Archer's riding. Besides his riding skill, he happens to be one of the most level headed guys in the sport. He truly understands what riding is all about, and that is something that is truly hard to find in a lot of riders today...sad, I know. Having recently picked up a sponsorship from ScooterHut and ScooterZone, I felt like it was definitely time to get an interview done with Jon Archer. Check it out below.
Steven: It's about time I caught up with you Jon! For everyone who doesn't know, how old are you and whereabouts in Australia are you from?
Jon: For sure Steven, Im 17 years old and im from a little area called Doonside in the outer west of Sydney.
Steven: So, when was it that you started riding scooters, and what got you interested in the sport?
Jon: Ive been riding for about a year and a few months now, I was purely interested in the sport because alot of my good mates where doing it at the time, and have never looked back since.
Steven: That's just shocking to think you've been riding less than 2 years.. Now, when people think of Aussie riding, they typically think of front bris, big airs, turndowns and lookbacks. However, your style is more of a tech/bmx street style. Why do you prefer riding with your style as opposed to typical Aus riding?
Jon: Because i have the time of my life when i ride tech/street, I dont do it to be different or so i can stand out in a crowd its just what i really love doing and i can see myself doing until i can't walk anymore. But dont get me wrong i love park aswell since majority of my mates ride it, I can be put in any situation and still find a way to have fun as long as im on my scooter.
Steven: Good stuff dude. It seems like there's a relatively small group of street/tech riders in Australia, most of them being a part of Friendly Flicks. Do you guys find it hard to progress with there being so few of you?
Jon: I honestly dont think we aim to progress when we ride, we just have a good time and as a bonus we learn new stuff. I dont think riding in a large/small group will influence how much you progress or not, at the end of the day its up to you with what you want to do not anyone else. No one should be riding to impress other's or just to fit in with the current trend, but instead do what you enjoy the most and dont pay too much attention to what other people expect you to do.
Steven: I wish more riders thought that way bro. So, Out of all the riders that you ride with, who pushes you to ride the hardest?
Jon: This is a really hard one, but im going to have to say Luke Maff. When me and luke ride together it really sets a good vibe not just for me and him but for everyone around us, Its not really a pushing kind of mood since we both like to have a few jokes here and there and sometimes a few arguements haha, i believe the best way to progress is to simply have fun. Other than that it would be all of my mates at my local and the whole friendly crew.
Steven: Are there any riders that you look up to from the US or EUR, and why?
Jon: Monkey,Conor davidson,Matt mckeen,Erik feenstra. Why? we all know why...
Steven: Yes.. we definitely all know why hahah. You recently picked up two sponsors, one in Australia, and one in the US, tell us about those sponsorships and how you got em.
Jon: Scooterhut from australia and Scooterzone from the US, there both great company's and dont really have that corporate attitude, they both pay attention to what the riders have to say and are extremely nice, There like family. Scooterhut approached me via youtube and since then me and Scott (owner) and taylor smith (team manager) have really been talking alot about the things to come in 2011, Scott and Taylor are such nice dudes and easy to talk to, and Taylor shreds hahah. As for Scooterzone i was first approached by you Steven! You talked to the owner of SZ James and since then ive been on the team, ive built a good relationship with you and your pretty much like a bro to me, Nick Darger is also a awesome dude and is hella cool i seriously can't wait to ride with him at JJ3. I couldn't thank everyone as much as i would be capable to, i feel blessed.
Steven: Two great companies dude, and you know we love havin you with us at SZ =). As things seem to be picking up for you, what are some future plans that you hope to accomplish in 2011/2012?
Jon: Ill see things out as they come, other than that just have as much fun as possible and have a blast with mates :)
