Min Je Kim, aka "Cat Soupy" aka "Saki" is looking to really make a name for himself in 2014. And this video is a great way to start. You can tell he worked hard for this edit, and it has me interested to see what he does in 2014 for sure. He rides for Spokesman currently, but I don't think he has any other major parts sponsors, so get at him. Props to Jon Reyes on the filming and editing.

2013 Highlights from NY
Michael Mankong sent me this video of some of NY's up and coming riders over the past year. Some familiar faces in there, and some that you might not recognize. I really love seeing the scene in NY, it's constantly growing, and you gotta thank the OG NY riders for that. Some of these dudes can use some work, but a lot of them have some solid clips for sure. Check it out, and let's see what these guys can do in 2014.

Gryndo/Lucky Scooters New York City Jam
Gryndo and Lucky were the title sponsors in this years' NYC jam. Tons of sick stuff went down at this one. Parrish Isaacs in particular caught my eye with the front board HARD 180 and back board hard 180 bar. Kid has been going off lately. Video filmed and edited by Sebastian Sims.

NY Stand up
The days of New York being limited to a handful of gnarly riders is coming to an end. There are crews out there that are getting better and better everyday. Below we got some of the existing and up and coming talent coming out of New York.
Harrison Lackow has been around for a minute, and he's clearly got some skills in the streets. Super clean style, and I love watching raw clips, so that was a plus.
Aj Rodriguez is one rider who I really want to see more from. I love watching riders that look like they have all their shit dialed and on point. This dude needs to get out in the streets and film for sure. I get that bad weather pushes you wherever you can to ride, but I want to see some legit footage asap.
Biagio DeVivo and Roy Saladin have been steadily coming up in the past year, and they're definitely getting there. I expect good years for both of them in 2013.

Spokesman Team Video
Spokesman is a shop that has a team featuring some of NYC's best young guns as well as the veteran Jon Reyes. They all kill it in this video, definitely some good riding in this. I'm gonna call out Jon though, I wanna see him do a front slider to flair.

NY Street Jam 2012 *Edited with New Video*
Here is Febkev's edit of the recent NYC Jam. This edit shows a lot of the same footage as the one below but it also shows the winners at each spot which is pretty cool. Overall it looked to be a fun event, I wanna go next year.
Go to 2:20 if you wanna watch the street clips, except you should definitely watch :26 to see the funniest scooter-break-while-flairing clip ever. This video isn't too great in quality so hopefully there'll be another one out soon, but there is a lot of footage from the day so its cool. Greg came through with some good tricks. Best clip is 4:08, gap to board Williamsburg? By some random? Or was that Rahmel? Either way it was good.

Anthony "Keca" Wixon War Edit
I see you Anthony. Anthony reps WarScooters in his latest edit which he clearly pushed himself a bit harder for. It's a decent video, but with the NY scene blowing up as it has been this past year or two, it's getting harder and harder for riders to get noticed without being way above the norm out there. Anthony is no doubt going to keep progressing so let's see how his next edit turns out.

Mikaylee Failla Summer Edit 2
Mikaylee was recently announced to be one of the riders on the new Gryndo Team, and for good reason. Mikaylee has been at it for a while, he's been sending me videos for some time now, and with this latest one he really got my attention. He's been pushing his street game, and it's paying off nicely. Definitely an up and comer in the NY scene. Loved the downside fingerwhip and his ender. Check it out.

Anthony "Keca" Wixon Edit
Pretty unknown rider for the most part. Coming out of New York where more and more riders are popping up everyday, Anthony shows a lot of promise. Showing some skill in park and street, and killing it with one of the longest hang 5s I've seen in a while. Reminded me of Jon Reyes old video. Check it out below.
Thanks Biagio for the email!

Roy Saladin
This young shredder is from Corona, New York. He's got a pretty nicely balanced style, some park and street tricks. I definitely called the 5 cab at the end. Good stuff, it'll be cool to see where he is in a couple years.
