Tom Kvilhaug- Westward Bound

I stopped halfway through working on a paper to watch this, and I'm glad I did.  This is footage from the past five months of Tom killing Seattle and Chicago spots.  I had the pleasure of filming Tom when he came out to Chicago this summer and got really hyped on him.  Last clip has gotta be one of the craziest things I've seen on a scooter.

  2. Great edit but...to say tht last clip was the craziest thing you've seen on a scooter is kinda an over statement.

  3. Nahh anon thats a 7 flat 4 i believe? He's gapping the whole 7 flat to the 2nd stage downrail. Who else in our sport could do that?

  5. each every clip in this video was fucking sick, that street style is the future of scootering, everyone who rides a scooter should ride this way.

  6. lol coedie LIP SLIDES a 5 flat five to the second down rail. and it looked even better in twans "this is scootering" video

  7. Definitely a solid ass edit, but it seemed like he had a lot of unnecessary pushing...it just bothers me when it seems like someone pushes just because, instead of pushing to get speed...don't know, it just irked me.

  8. Tom's banger was a huge 7 flat 4 rail, Coedies lipslide was on a short 5 flat 5 rail. The size of the two sets is not even comparable. And "this is scootering" has dubstep in it, so it is automatically less cool.

  9. oh come on wtf... there was like 5% originality in this video, the rest of the video was boring tricks copied off other riders... wow rail whip out, feeble 3 downside out, the list goes on for repeated copied tricks. get some originality tom, stop boring the sport with basic tricks that half the inside followers could do themselves, but think its amazing because its filmed with an SLR or fisheye

  10. Wow... these kids really don't understand anything. It's not about the tricks it's how you do them.

Amazing edit Tom, keep up the heat

  11. Thank you Travis.

The tricks themselves are only half the battle...the locations, filming, editing, all of that plays a part as well. Tom puts in effort to find spots, which is awesome.

  13. to the little anon @#!*% hating on this video: id like to see you try these "basic tricks" at the spots he's doing them at. the fact that all you look at is the trick hes doing and not the spot just shows that you know absolutely nothing about street riding. scootering isnt completely about who can add one more barspin or tailwhip to a trick to make it a "never been done", that @#!*% gay and boring to watch cause its almost always done over a flybox or on a quarter. tom actually looked for those spots and nailed some insane tricks despite the rugged street conditions. try to get out of your skatepark a little more before you try to hate on a street video, youll look alot less retarded

  14. How people are actually hating, or "trying" to hate on this video is kinda funny. lol

Great edit Tom. I def. think there's some stuff he can improve on, but overall he is progressing really well.

  15. wow whoever that was who was saying "stop boring us" is a fag. If ur bored by any of these tricks, make a more creative and "better" street video yourself. Guarantee it cant be done. This is fucking insane and until you move to seattle or chicago and check out some of these spots dont talk. The gap that he doubled doesnt even look possible standing over it. I met Tom at greenlake very briefly and hes possibly the coolest person living haha. Awesome video.
