Throwback Thursday: John Radtke DXG Section

Most of you probably know John Radtke as the guy behind the Razor/Phase 2 dirt scooters.  Before he was into riding dirt scooters, he was into riding regular scooters.  While doing that, he became a pioneer with flip combos and nunchucking.  DXG was a crew/video that was in the making for such a long time, but most of this footage was shot in 2008/2009.  A lot of it is still enjoyable today, so, enjoy this.

Skates.co.uk Interviews with John Radtke and Ali Kermani

Ben was taking care of business in Germany, and got some legit interviews done as always. The two below are with Dirt Scooter creator John Radtke, and Phase 2/Razor longtime employee Ali Kermani. John gives you a little bit of insight on how the Dirt Scooter came to be, and Ali Kermani breaks down Razor and Phase 2 and their differences, and what we can expect in 2013 with Phase 2. All of it sounds really good.

John Radtke Dirt Scoot Release Party

Earlier this month John Radtke had a release party for his Dirt Scooter made by Phase 2, and designed by John himself. John has been around since the beginning, and in the past few years I'm sure all of you can recall seeing him on a dirt scooter, well now instead of asking him to try it out at comps and parks, you can get one for yourself. This is something brand new for our sport, and I can see so many sick competitions popping up once these things take off, and I definitely see them taking off. With riders like Danny Rambert constantly pushing the limits on his dirt scooter, it's bound to get pretty nuts, pretty quick. Check out the footage below.

Razor Dirt Scooter Throwaway

SoCal OG's, Nick Darger, Kody McQueen, Danny Rambert, and the creator of the Dirt Scooter by Razor, John Radtke got this footage from a few seshs with the new Dirt Scooter. It's just them messing around, but let's hope at least one of them puts together a serious edit soon. Pretty sick to see people shredding dirt scooters. Check it out below. Razor USA releases a video every two weeks and this video has 3 riders John Radtke, Jason Beggs, and Me(Chris Gascoigne). Jason has killer clips in this video and John seriously throws down. This was filmed over the course of about one week. Ricky Wernicke edited this video and it turned out great. I personally love Ricky's editing style, that mixed with John Radtke's filming brought together by Acoustic Productions made this edit awesome. Keep an eye out for future Razor videos to be released every two weeks on mondays.

Its great to see Razor is kicking up dust with their media and releasing a new video every 2 weeks. Well into Video 9 you see a great collaboration of chill riding.
