It's finally time. UrbanArtt is ready to drop, and to start things off they released an edit featuring the Team. Everyone kills it. So many different styles, and they are probably one of the strongest street teams in the sport right now, which is actually getting more and more packed. Love seeing guys like Addison and Ostrom still out there killing it, after having been in the game for so many years. Definitely watch this edit, and be on the look out for more UrbanArtt news.
Javi has been working on this video for a while now and it shows in all the spots he hits. The back lip/crook on the green electrical box as well as down that rail were super sick. Last 30 seconds of the video killed it too, who goes out and seshes a huge block set like that?
Barcelona has a hell of a scene, and if you have a scene like that it is always good to have a legit shop to back it up. In Barcelona, that shop is the rider owned Haske Scooter Shop. Below we have a promo video for Haske, and also an inside look at the shop and the people behind it. While english isn't Javi's first language, it is really easy to understand his reasoning behind starting Haske, and I'm totally behind that. Haske is Spain's first Scooter Shop that is owned and operated by riders. This is one of the rarities in our sport. This is something I kind of wish more riders would try to do, but it just isn't happening in our sport.. Most of the time you have shops that are for the most part operated by riders, but not owned. The owner is none other than Javi Trepat. Javi along with his long time friend Sergio Alvarez are taking on this task together, and they aren't just stocking any and every scooter brand out there. He is actually being pretty selective about what brands to carry. He will be carrying products from companies who he chooses himself, and who he feels are actually helping the sport. They will also be carrying various clothing brands. They recently had their launch party, and it looks like it was pretty tight. This is a project i wanted to do with my friends since long and finally were done. Really happy how it finally were done. The name of this video is rather misleading but after watching it that doesn't matter at all. Javi, if you haven't heard of him before, is a street shredder from Barcelona, Spain...home of some of the sickest street spots in the world. Super awesome, tech edit out of Javi, which was filmed in just two days. Filming and editing by Ferran Grau.
On January 15th theres going to be a big jam in Barcelona, put on by Balthazar Neveu and Javi Trepat. Balth is originally from Paris but now lives in Barcelona, and you probably know by now that Javi is a local. Also taking part is Ferran Grau and the Twisted Scooter Crew, a local team of riders. Barcelona is home to some of the sickest street spots in the world, and the organizers really want some good talent there so if theres any way you could make it there, I'd suggest going.
Some good old European street riding right here. Javi and Jeremy both shred hard. Its sick to see tricks like briflips and triples being thrown down huge gaps, those handrails were pretty legit too. Theres a few tricks down MACBA in there, too bad its only a 3 block now. Javi recently put out a solo video, check it out here if you missed it.
"The Super 60 is designed to test a rider's consistency, creativity and use of a space within a skatepark. Riders are given 60 minutes to film as many clips as they can, and turn this into a video showcasing their personal style and tricks."
For his Super 60, Javi Trepat decided to ride local street spots in his hometown of Barcelona, Spain. While the 17 year old is unknown to American riders, he has quite a lot of recognition in Europe, being sponsored by multiple companies, including Micro. He is a shredder for sure and it shows in his S60.

Jordan Jasa: Why did you choose to do your S60 on street?
Javi Trepat: I choose to do my S60 cauz i love ride and i thought it was time to start a new video. For me scooter is a big part of my life and film my life with the scooter for see how i make my style with scooter bigger is really important.
Who are some of your influences?
My biggest influences are my friends always, specially MX friends, they always are helping me and telling me why i should continue riding. They're another big part of my life. My girlfriend tells me sometimes why i do some sheets with scooter cauz in some big spoots i become some illness, but i know that she loves me and he makes that for help me...
What do you think of the scooter scene in Barcelona/Spain?
I have seen the completly evolution in Barcelona/Spain of the scooter freestyle. I think it has maken a big evolution becauz there's always someone better then other one and that makes bigger this Xtreme-Sport. So i think that the MX spain riders play here a big paper cauz people will not continue riding if we let of ride, they would be not motivated for continue riding... The street spoots in general maked me begining to ride cauz i saw there that i can make bigger my creativity and i saw that scooter was funny and interesting.
What is it like riding street in Barcelona?
For me the only comparation like riding street in Barcelona is the party's here in the nights, there're so big partys with so much funny people... In my situation be with my girlfriend produce me the same sensation like ride street in Barcelona... I love two things same. Another thing i like as riding street is ride it with marc pauls, he's always helping me in all what i need and without him and some many friends this full project will be impossible.
