Kota On Ellen

So, what do you guys think?  I'm bummed that he had to go out and talk to her while wearing the pads and helmet, but I think he came across as a nice kid at least.  A lot could probably be said but I will leave it at that I'm sure Kota will continue to get more and more people into and aware the sport with this appearance and any future ones too.

  1. If you go on Kota's Facebook he explains they made him wear the gear because after he left the stage he had to be out side on the ramps in less than 30 seconds. There was no break between the scenes. As far as a nice kid, he has always been nice to everyone even the haters. I don't know to many scooter riders who could sit in front of 6 million people and talk then go on ramps and land trick after trick. Good job Kota!

  3. fucking awesome rider, apparently his dad made him start scooters and forced him but i don't think that he would turn out like this if that was the case.

  4. This is cool and all but I wish street riding got more attention like Kota's park riding does.

  6. i'm with graham on this one. we can mock kota for the pads thing but then again he's just shot a vid with devin supertramp that was publicized by red bull, espn, cnn, etc. and now he's on ellen with millions more watching. damn, kota, way to bring it. now if lucky can do the same thing for street that they did for park, i will convert.

  7. sigh. I don't know why but I'm not liking Kota's style.Perhaps its because he's doing these big park stunts with tiny bars.He always has and I don't like that. That's just how I feel though.

  8. I think Dakota is insane, and definitely under-appreciated. He does a ton for the sport, and it goes unrecognized. Great job dude, you kill it, and interviews like these are ill. Keep doing what you're doing.
