Pretty stoked for Eric Magray, dude is making moves. For more information check out the press release from Phoenix earlier this week.
"Portland, OR December 5, 2012 – Phoenix Sports Distribution, announces the exclusive US distribution of Magray Scooter Company. Currently, Phoenix Sports Distribution is distributing the Magray SLI pegs.
“I've always thought Phoenix
produces some of the best quality parts and contributes so much to the sport.
Being friends with a lot of the pros, I also know that Phoenix treats their
riders very well compared to most companies," commented Eric Magray, Owner, Magray
Scooter Co, "With such a good standing in the community, Phoenix is a
symbol for how Magray could be, so deciding to work with them was a
no-brainer."
Magray SLI Pegs are
designed to combine the strength of chromoly with the ultra-smooth sliding characteristics
of UHMW. Whether you ride street, park,
or both, these pegs are made to hold up to the abuse you throw at them. Of course grinding rough surfaces will wear
out the plastic, so when it does, simply replace the sleeves with new ones
while reusing the chromoly core."
Hell yeah Eric is getting it done!
ReplyDeleteThose pegs are SO good.
ReplyDeleteHow stupid Magray is selling through a company that isn't rider owned. Haha
ReplyDeleteIt really isn't stupid. I'm not biased to whether a company is rider owned, woman owned, minority owned, or whatever. When it comes to making parts, I do the best I can to make the best parts I can, and Phoenix does the same. This decision was made because Phoenix and Magray share similar philosophies and will do great things together in the future. Also, very few riders have good business sense and work ethic, both things a company needs to grow and be successful. Phoenix has already achieved goals that Magray has set. Working together, learning from them, will only help Magray to do better in the future.
