Dan Barrett Edit
This isn't so much a Dan Barrett edit as it is a Dan Barrett + Friends + Partying edit. I am bummed on this, because I was expecting it just to be Dan, but the other riders did some sick stuff too. The whole putting in drinking/smoking/partying clips thing is so lame though. Its fine if thats what you like to do but for a scooter edit? I hope this trend doesn't continue.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with y'all. What I like to see in a video are the tricks of course, the editing, the creativity and also the riders' lifestyle. If partying is part of it, then I like showing it in the video. In a way you get to know a bit more the rider. I don't really understand how some people see this as something that is " lame " or that is making you look " worse and pathetic ". What no one shouldn't really do, is put DUBSTEP in a scooter edit !!!! that's what you all should fight against

ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure in this video there was no smoking what so ever. This just shows the daily life of these riders, how they're people and not just riding machines. That being said, I also think the edit itself was excellent. Dan Barrett and friends never disappoint.

ReplyDelete#2. It's crazy how "Elyts" has party B-Roll in a lot of there videos and its never been a big deal, but when random dude like Dan has a little B-Roll in his video you(Jordan) have to talk about it in the write up. Is that because "Elyts" pays you and Dan Barrett doesn't ?

Dan is still one of the steeziest tech riders out there, that's what I got from this edit.
^ya it should of been a generic title of some sort. im down with the party shots. everyone should once in a while take off their knee pads and shotgun a beer.

I'm sure when most people reach the age of 21 they experiment with alcohol, we were having a good time and I had my filmer with me. Sorry to disappoint you Jordan, I hope we can still be friends. To all the haters go have some fun, seriously riding is about having fun, when i rode with these guys thats what it was about ride and have fun, this video shows exactly that and the video makes you feel like you are having a good time with them. The clips aren't even like trying to boast about drinking/partying etc. This is the kind of video that can attract outside audience and shows scooters arent just little 12 year olds wearing helmets riding into people at parks. GO HAVE FUN AND RIDE, if you dont like vids like this dont watch it go watch 5 minutes of same old shit. Keep it up dan and crew

Not sure what all you pre-pubescent eleventeen-year-olds are crying about. I agree with my Over Show compadre that we all gotta kick it next time we're in the same area. Been too long Danny-boy.
