Matt Andrus Scooter Montage

Matt Andrus Scooter Montage from John Andrus on Vimeo.

Matt, if you don't know who he is, is one of scooter ridings most OG riders.  Started at pretty much the beginning, rose to the top of the sport as he got sponsored by Micro, then pretty much fell off the face of the earth in 2007 (after the original Transit Scooter Tour).  However, over the past year he's gotten back into it, was picked up by Scooterzone, and is shredding once again. Matt's brother Jon put together this montage of older clips of Matt for everyone.  Matt's currently filming a new video, to be put out within the next month or two.  Can't wait for that.

  1. you can see how on top of the game he was by the end of the video. Some of those tricks are still park hammers today.

It's so good to see Matt back into the sport & I was lucky enough to meet him for the first time last month after 12 years of riding! :D

  13. Haha, word, Steven. Crazy that I remember all but a couple clips in this video. Even with those OG narrow bars, 3/4 of this video is still untouchable by most to this day.

  17. Im blown away by the love you guys. I had no idea that anyone really remembered or noticed my old stuff as much. I plan to continue filming and riding hard as long as my body will hold up. Once i get my own camera there will be edits dropping at a consistent basis. I was lazy for a few years, only riding mabye once a month, it stopped being fun when things started to get too competitive... being "at the top of the sport" can make riding lose its meaning. Coming back and being super far behind has made it so much more fun for me because i get to ride for me and no one else.
