Am Spotlight: Noah Risser

Noah Risser is a name that I had never heard of until about a month ago, when I stumbled upon his Tech/Flat Minivideo.  It was clear that he had talent on his scooter, and I definitely saw a little of myself in him.  He rides super tech and creatively.  I think its safe to say that he has a bright future in the sport…with tricks like nose manual doublewhips, hang five bartwists, and boardslide doublewhips, he is one am to keep your eye on.  I got in contact with Noah and asked him a few questions to get to know him better.

Jordan Jasa:  Name, age, location:

Noah Risser; 14; Lancaster, PA

How long have you been riding, and what made you start?

I've been messing around on scooters since like december '08, but seriously got into them around May '09. I think I got into riding after seeing one of my friends do a tailwhip, and then I just got amazed by them, and now here I am haha.

Who are some of your favorite riders?

I have a TON of favorite riders. but my top 5 would have to be Erik Feenstra, Dylan Kasson, Matt Mckeen, you (Jordan Jasa), and Tom Kvilhaug. after watching videos of them I feel like I've gotta go out and ride haha.

I love the tech part part of your riding.  What influences you to ride like that?

Watching my favorite riders definitely influences how I ride. I know I don't go as big as Mckeen or Tom, and I'm not sure where the tech part of my riding came from, but it somehow turned out like that. I would like to have a nice street/tech combo of a style one day haha.

What are some companies you'd like to be sponsored/involved with?

If I could pick any team to be with, it would no doubt be District; I love all their parts and their riders so much. but as for teams other than District I would like to be involved with maybe Proto, Inward, or Skyhigh.

Any tricks you're working on?

As for tricks now I'm basically trying to re-learn all my tricks because I lost a lot of my tricks due to the winter. but what I would want to land this Spring would be triples flat maybe 720 a set if I would man up for once haha.

Any shoutouts to close it up?

Yea I wanna shout out to Will Rosati for being like the only person that still rides in the winter with me & Isaac Coy because he drinks gasoline! And thanks to you Jordan for giving me a chance to be on Inside :)
