Johan Walzel Elyts Profile

Heres the edit of Johan Walzel from his time he's spent down in California. Shot and edited by Phillip Long. In my opinion this is the best one of the Elyts Profiles we've seen so far. One thing I like that Elyts does, is give these riders from other countries a chance to come to California and ride. well Johan looks like he took that opportunity very seriously, because he kills it in this edit. You can really tell that this dude got out as much as he could and got clips left and right. Really sick riding throughout.

AO Europe Tour Part 4

The final installment of the AO Europe Tour featuring Cory Vanlew and Zig Short, and filmed and edited by Phillip Long comes to an end with the 4th edit. We've seen Zig and Cory literally all over Europe promoting the AO Deck, and with the latest news about the deck being released earlier this week, it's just a matter of time before people start getting their hands on it. Check out the edit below.

AO Europe Tour Pt 2

We posted part 1 a while ago, and now we got part 2. This time Cory, Zig, and filmer/editor Phillip Long hit up Germany. There's a mix of park and street riding in here, and you really get to see how that grind plate on the AO Deck works. Cory literally slides for days with that thing. You also get to see (kind of) what happens when a German security guard gets a little too close to Zig while trying to get him out of a spot. It's a shame we don't get to see the actual footage. I'm guessing someone got hit, and it wasn't Zig..

Check out the edit below.

Scandinavian Scooter Contest 2012 Edit by Phillip Long

ELYTS Filmer Phillip Long was recently with Cory Vanlew and Zig Short at a Comp in Scandinavia. Looks like it was pretty good too. One of the things I noticed about this edit/competition was the amount of US riders there. I think it really shows that companies are starting to support their riders a bit more, and really get them out to various competitons around the world, as opposed to around the country. Really sick to see guys like Big Ron, Vanlew, Jake Clark, and Peter Jungsberger out there shredding. Check out the edit below.

Also, rack up another win for the homie Big Ron. Out there with these ridiculously crazy park riders, throwing flips and flairs left and right. And then you got Big Ron coming in with his signature style and trick list, and shutting it down. Good shit. Props.

ELYTS/AO Europe Tour 2012

Zig Short, Cory Vanlew, and Phil Long are hitting up Europe to promote the new ELYTS Shoes, and AO technology. Cory Vanlew has already been promoting the AO Deck on a tour of the East Coast not too long ago. If you want to try and get out to any of the stops on the Tour, check the dates on the flyer below.

"Competition Day" ft Zig Short, Max Peters, and Mitch Baldry by Phillip Long

Shot and edited by Phillip Long, these three ELYTS riders give you some insight on how the competition day was for them. SD6 was one of the biggest competitions to date, so it's cool to see what these guys thought about it. It's too bad we didn't get to hear from other riders as well. Check it out below.

Razor Global Domination Tour Texas

These are videos by Phillip Long documenting the last stop on the Razor competition tour.  The first video consists of interviews with some of the top competition riders, and the second features actual riding.  Both are definitely worth the watch.  Not a fan of that ultra widescreen though haha.

Jamo Jam 3 Contest Video Filmed and Edited by Phillip Long

The contest through the lens of ELYTS and 841 filmer, Phillip Long. Contest looked amazing. I really love the way the sport is over in Australia. Congratulations to Envy Pro Scooter's Brendon Smith for taking the win at a contest that looks like it was jam packed with top talent.

Chris "Thug" Hart and Zig's First Rap Video filmed by Phillip Long

ELYTS and 841 filmer Phillip Long never ceases to amaze me. He recently filmed and made an edit for Chris Hart for a company Chris riders for called Thug Clothing. Chris is one of the most well rounded riders in the sport today. No matter where you drop him, he's going to be able to throw down, really great rider. Check out the edit below.

Also ELYTS and 841 rider Zig Short had a friend fly in from New York who happened to bring a portable studio. Now I don't know about you guys, but when someone has a portable studio? You drop a track. Common knowledge haha. Great minds obviously think alike, cause Zig decided it was time to let his flow go. Check it out below.

ELYTS Do It Big Tour Edit by Phillip Long

ELYTS recently shut it down on the East Coast during their rightfully named, "Do It Big Tour". They hit up XW, numerous shops, and a bunch of other skateparks. One of the highlights of this video are the locals! Some of these kids rip sooo hard. Not to mention Cory Geisler! This is some of the first new footage of Cory you will find anywhere. And of course Zig and Chris throw down like there's no tomorrow. Check out the edit below.

Filmed and Edited by Phillip Long. Swag for days and a half.

Inside Interview with ELYTS' Cory Geisler and Chris Hart

Sometimes I get the vibe that people haven't yet grasped what level ELYTS is operating on. They recently added Chris Hart, and OG Aussie rider Cory Geisler to their Team. What better way to get to know the guys better than to fly them all the way from Australia to the US. While they were here, Inside-Scooters got to get an interview done with them. You can learn more about how they got on ELYTS, how they feel about the company, and more by watching the video below.

Questions all by Steven Tongson.

SD 5 Outro Productions Video

At first glance I was stoked to see someone took the time and energy to produce this video, It is very clear that Phillip Long took the time to Film and Edit this video. I was lucky enough to attend SD5 and I actually have a clip in this video. All the riding is amazing and lives up to par of what to expect at the San Diego Scooter Competition Series. All the riders who attend bring their "A" Game and never a let down.

I personally have results from 7th to 1st in the Pro division, 7th being Brian Murphy, 6th Chris Gascoigne(me), 5th Jason Beggs, 4th Capron Funk, 3rd Dakota Shuetz, 2nd Raymond Warner and topping it off as no surprise, Tyler Bonner!

There were many companies in attendance from Blunt, D.S.A., District, Eagle, and Epic, to Phoenix, Scooter Zone, Lucky, Inward Scooters and Proto. Some set up booths and others were there to enjoy the show. In any case, SD5 proved to be another good year despite lack of planning and official flyer and announcements. Many purchased the plane tickets and made travel arrangements in good faith that the show would go on, and oh did it ever!

I would like to take the time to personally Thank each and every person who showed up either to ride in the comp or just to support the rapidly growing sport of Scooters. It was a great way to kick off the 2011 year and i would say we're off to a good start. Thank you for taking the time to read this and remember..
