Throwback Thursday: Stefan Hefner's Opus Part

When I first saw footage of Stefan, I instantly became a fan. He's an awesome rider, and an even cooler person. Back when Lucky was known for having some of the heaviest hitters in the street game, it was Stefan that got the most attention from their full length video, Opus. To this day his section is still golden. The combination of Tyler Wheeland's filming, and Stefan's riding is remarkable. Throw in a perfect song choice, and well done editing, and you have a classic. Check it out below if you haven't seen it before. Hell, even if you have, watch it again.

Evan Yamada Lucky Opus Throwaway

Evan had one of the best parts in Opus, and his throwaway is also really good.  I can't wait for whatever next video part he does to drop.  Check out his Opus part here

Stefan Hefner Lucky Opus Part.

I'm writing this twenty minutes before its actually out, and I'm stoked.  Stefan has no fear when it comes to rails and hucking it down the gnarliest gaps and sets.  Yet he still balances it out with some pretty tech tricks. Second to last clip might be the craziest thing to go down at Hollywood High (not that the last clip isn't insane though haha).  Great part.

Lil Jon Opus Section

...Man, what can I say about Lil Jon? You ever hear the expressions, "Balls to the wall" or "Go for broke" ? That's what I think when I see Lil Jon ride. He just goes for it. It's for that fact that his riding is so fun to watch. Not to mention he's got some really underrated skills in the streets. I really loved his Opus section.

Blake Bailor Opus Part

The Opus parts continue with Blake's. I think Blake has my favorite section so far. I've always loved his style, and he has some really good rail clips in this section. Love the last two clips, you don't see people get super creative with rails like that too often, so it was definitely good. Check out Blake's Opus part below.

Lucky Scooter Parts Opus Part 2/6 In Two Days

Just throwing out a reminder for everyone waiting for the 2nd LSP Opus part to drop. The first section dropped was from Evan Yamada, and it was jam packed with bangers. The second part dropping on Friday, features James Gee. I personally can't wait to see James's section. I know for a fact there is going to be plenty of ridiculousness in his section. Two days, and we will be able to check it out.

For now click the link below to check out the first Opus part dropped, by Evan Yamada.

Evan Yamada Opus Section

So this is the first section released by Lucky Scooter Parts for Opus, and damn, what a way to start things off. Evan absolutely kills it. Brings it back to life. And kills it again. Filming an all street section is something some riders can pull off, and some can't. Well Evan definitely pulled it off, and then some. There is a perfect mix of tech and huge bangers. The amount of frontside and backside spins really kept things fresh. As for the banger... I think that alone speaks loads about the strength of LSP products, because not many scooters would hold up after something that huge. You want to click "Play" on the video below. And you will probably do so, over, and over, and over..

I'd also like to include the YouTube description for this video.. Which will better explain the opening scenes you see as the video starts.

"Evan Yamada would like to dedicate this video to his mother who passed away due to breast cancer. She supported him through scootering ever since he picked up the sport. This video shows a lot about Evan and his personality.
Enjoy"

Be on Inside-Scooters next week for the next Opus part!

Lucky Opus Trailer

Check out this press release from Lucky-

"The Lucky Pro Team has been filming a all street web video for over a year now. Beginning 11/11/11 EVAN YAMADA'S video will be dropped! Every Friday a new riders part will be released on the Lucky youtube channel and also on here. Instead of making Opus a DVD we chose to make it a series of web videos. This way you guys can watch this project for no cost. The more views we can get the further our sport can grow. Thank you, we hope all of you enjoy!"

I personally can't wait, I've seen a small amount of the footage/heard some things and these guys have been working super hard to film some crazy stuff.

Lucky Opus DVD Throwaway

Lucky Scooters...arguably the most popular company out there today (as shown by the sheer number of likes on their facebook), not without reason.  Tyler Wheeland, inspired no doubt by Proto's Dylan Kasson, has been pushing the team to film and progress in ways scooter riders haven't ever progressed before.  A small taste of that progression is shown in this throwaway montage of their 2nd DVD, called Opus.  I definitely cannot wait till it drops this winter.  I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
