Grit is very well known in AUS and UK, and now they are making their entrance into the US. With the release of their new Completes. They look pretty sick, you can check em out below.

  3. Those look terrible in a cheesy way...kind of Toys R Us...MADD scootersish. flat deck is nice though. Those mayhem bars are the most horrendous-looking things ever. I'm not a fan of those Razor ultra-pro-like down tubes.

  4. They do look kinda cheesy..but I think theyd be a good entry scooter for people getting into the scene, maybe younger kids?

  10. get them away! get them out!

That's all just some chinese bullshit. Come on guys, keep it real with the US companies who actually care for the sport.

  11. The mayhem is semi integrated. Designs have changed from last year so expect more big things from grit as the products evolve.

  12. Hey im Matt Brown from grit scooters uk pro team. These scooters are so nice to ride. they are very light but also very strong. they also look amazing. for those who think these are some chinese bullshit, or knock off bars or any other crap; they arent. grit scooters have come up with fresh new designs for their scooters. they are not trying to copy any other brand or company. another good thing about these scooters is the price, you get a lot for your money. Especially with them mayhem or elite.

  13. Chinese?? Lol ! Grit are australian!!
In the UK Grit are massive supporters of the scene and riders. Why hate? There are enough people against scooters as it is without us fighting amongst ourselves. Ive ridden Grit in the UK for a year now, the decks are really light, the customer service is awesome and the improvements they've made to the products are a result of listning to what us riders tell them.

  15. Definitely made in some factory in China with District parts. That deck is a District but with holes drilled for a normal brake and a round neck.

  16. Scooters are newer to the US than Australia, and those Aussies know what they're doing. Grit's the real deal.

  17. These aren't the worst scooters ever, but I can't see any big-name pros or ams wanting to ride these. They seem more for beginners who want a semi-pro-looking complete.

All the aspects of the scooter just look like B-versions of already existing designs.

I would like to know the background of the designers and company owners. Did they just see an opportunity to make money, and copy what was out there. Or are they really dedicated to expanding scootering and making a GOOD product.

There are a lot of companies popping up out there. DONT support the shitty ones and let them flood the market with more toy-like scooters. Let's make it so the mom's and dad's with all the expendable income buy their kids the BEST products out there so the REALLY LEGIT, rider-owned companies can grow and not be forced out by people who think MADD completes are the best you can get.

ANYONE SEEN THE SHAWN WHITE SCOOTERS?....That's what these remind me of. Would you really want one of those if you were serious about sport?

  18. personally ive ridden just about every scooter there is from razor to lucky, and grits are good. we are on tour in Cali at the end of october, why not come and hang out, meet the guys and check one out before you make up your mind.

also, im sure that if any brand copied anothers design or deck there are some pretty tough legal types who would be all over it!
    thanks

  20. People just hate to see comapnies come out with professional looking products and are so serious when it comes to hating on stuff for stupid reasons.

these scooters look nice and with the price, thats even better.

Looks like they got a lot of bars to choose from if you're not looking for a complete. I'm digging acid green. Give my ride some paint.

  25. I recently got a new grit scooter and it is one of the best complete I have ever had! It has got everything you need! When I used to ride a MGP deck and wanted to do like a fingerwhip it would hurt my hand! Or if the deck smacked me in the leg, it would kill but this grit scooter is so light and has square edges and when I hit my self it didn't hut at all! Im just so happy with it and recommend it to everyone!

  26. This is David from the grit scooter AUS team! The new decks keep getting better and better! The bars are still going strong and my wheels are lasting for ages! Forks have gotten stronger and pegs are just amazing! When people say the decks look like this and the bars look like that.. I would like to see you guys think of an idea of a new deck or new style of bars! It's hard work! That's like saying whoever made the first T bars then someone else made them, they copied the first person... I just think grit is going to be big one day and there are going to be some amazing riders on the team!
