Eric Ostrom District 2011 Promo

You don't have to like the company to love one of its riders. Eric Ostrom is an OG that has been in the sport about as long as I have. He is one of the riders who sparked the scootering boom in the Bay Area of California. While Eric can shred park with the best of em, he keeps it totally street in his latest edit. Keep in mind a lot of this footage is B Footage, but rest assure it is still filled with bangers. Eric is a rider who has never, and probably will never, follow the trick trends in riding. He has his own unique style, and that's one of the reasons why his videos are always so much fun to watch. Check out Eric doin it for District below.

  8. Are people really hating on this video?? How is that even possible? This edit was so sick, the editing was on point, and a video with mostly insane rail tricks (like the ones Eric does) is a hell of a lot better than most of the edits posted on here. I can't believe this is considered b footage because 95% of the tricks were bonkers! Scooter kiddos need to realize the Skill difference between someone hucking themselves down huge handrails and someone airing out of a quarter pipe in a skatepark

How was the editing bad? Just because you don't like the footage doesn't mean it was woven together poorly. What's your definition of B-footage anyway?

I know it's all personal preference but to those saying that it's just grinds (I'm assuming your saying it negatively), how many videos are out there of guys just doing air tricks on quarters and box jumps?

If we're talking in terms of maximizing entertainment: Show what you're best at. We've all seen videos of guys who are really good at air tricks but throw in a basic & boring feeble grind to try and pretend that they are an all-around rider.

  10. Theo's on point with this one. Eric threw down hard. The last trick was one of the best things I've seen thrown down in recent videos. The filming was spot on as well. I'd much rather see these kind of street tricks then someone like Zig Short just doing big gaps. Its all about the technical riding but doing on big/unique obstacles. Great edit

  15. Thanks for the comments guys. I do "Indian givers" on purpose. So that I'm doing both frontside and backside 180's in my lines..... usually if I do an indian giver it is opposite 180. - Eric
