Mitch Baldry on Blunt.

Blunt Scooters recently caught up with team rider Mitch Baldry and thought we'd see what this 17 year old gets up to on his weekends.. Picking him up at his new job at the Scooter Hut Store in Melbourne, where we found him sweet talking some mums into buying some scooters.

We then took him to a comp that was happening down the road, where Mitch pretty much got out of the car and walked over to the park just in time for it to start. Mitch dropped in and had some awesome lines which gave him the win. The comp was done so we then jumped in the car and hit up some spots around Melbourne.

After some crazy riding. We sat down in the middle of the city, where we threw a couple of questions at Mitch.

Blunt: shirt is pretty damn tight.. enhancing the guns?

Mitch : Haha that was the only sized shirt we had left in the store so I had to use either that one or the madd gear shirt and you know that wasn't going to happen :P

Blunt: How does it feel getting paid a wage to sell and talk scooters all day ?

Mitch: It feels incredible, just chilling in the shop, fixing scooters and making them all day. And getting paid to do it, what more could a scooter rider want aye?

Blunt: Everyone on the Blunt team are starting to get their own signature parts, so your next?

Mitch: Yeah, My signature part will be the Blunt Polycarbonate Wheels. We have been working on them for over 10months now and it's all coming together nicely.. Awesome colours and they come in at a crazy 140grams. I'm so keen on them, I can't wait till they hit the stores so everyone can feel how amazing and light they are.

Blunt:So how do they feel?

Mitch: They feel really really good, they are incredibly light and So fast. We have a nice wide PU on them and the rebound is incredible. Polycarbonate which is otherwise known as bullet proof glass makes core really strong and the colours Blunt is using is nothing like scooters has seen.

Lastly, Blunt's USA tour 'begins' tomorrow, with the plane over. Look out for them at the first stop (Venice Beach)
