I have to say. I highly doubt anyone is going to buy these bars. And if anyone does, they are seriously setting the sport back. Twan needs to get serious for once and design a bar people would actually want to buy, while still giving scooters a good perception. These bars = UBER FAIL!

Twan, I told you it would be very risky putting the barz on a blog owned by inward. Everyone pretty much knows the Zone gets no love from this site. The barz are selling really good to be out for only a couple of days. As far as those of you who are worried or concerned about how many sponsors a certain rider has or can get, have you ever seen a race car, a pro bmx rider, or skateboarder, they all have multiple sponsors. Twan is doing an excellent job representing this new up coming sport. Anyone at the top of their sport should get paid for what they do, and I'm not talking about a pair of wheels or some other product. You guys have to start getting paid for what you do and what you are worth. Like it or not the sport is growing like crazy and there will always be a business side to it. LOVE THE SPORT!! Thanks a lot I.S. for featuring a SZ product, that was really big of you guys.
ReplyDeleteOwned by Inward? Inside-Scooters Blog is owned by two people. Jordan Jasa and Myself. That's it. Where you got the idea that it is owned by Inward...I don't know. But it's not.
ReplyDeleteAs for people opinions on the bars...That is the risk people take when they want stuff on IS. We are not going to stop publishing peoples comments that they leave...We filter out all racial and extreme insults that people leave. But a lot of what is above are simply peoples opinions..some are just more immature than others.
As for the end of your comment where you say IS shows SZ no love? This is the first time SZ or not even SZ...but Twan took initiative and contacted ISB. The companies you see on IS, are paying advertisers..So we don't exactly go around featuring NON paying companies parts...but as you can see, we do make exceptions as we did here with Twan. But it wouldn't be fair to our companies that pay for advertising if we gave other companies reviews and previews on parts for free...you know?

ReplyDeleteGeeze with originalilty comes criticism! I'm glad to see that there is an individual that is will to take a risk in a new and upcoming (hopefully) sport. My son is inspired by Twan and I'm excited to see that the sport my son loves will keep him trying new tricks. If you don't like the bars don't get them. They are a work of love for a sport someone loves and wanted to share.

This is the old design of the bars which was very ugly. The newer ones have a sleeker, taller design which give it a great look. I bought black bars and I love them.
