BenJ Friant- District Promo
Don't get me wrong, BenJ's videos are always super crazy when they come out. But the last couple seemed a little less crazy as previous videos. With this video, however, you could tell that it was going to be amazing right off the bat. BenJ once again proves he is on top of the combo game, doing tricks steezy clean with speed. Footage near the end there makes me wonder why this guy isn't the one traveling with the Nitro Circus guys doing the Megaramp...I can't imagine what BenJ would throw down on one of those.

Jessee Ikedah Madd Summer Edit
Did you forget how good Madd USA's Jessee Ikedah is? That's unfortunate. Here, this video will remind you that Jessee is a 100% Boss.
Street. Park.. doesn't matter. Jessee will kill it. He has so much raw ability and style, that it makes it almost impossible to look away when you're watching him ride, or watching one of his videos. A solid edit like this from Jessee has been long overdue. Really loved this.

Blunt's Max Peters Scooter Check + Blunt No Longer Called Blunt in Australia???
Since Blunt Pro Scooters hit the scene they have proven to be a real powerhouse of a company. From the products they manufacture, all the way to the Team of riders they have all around the world. Recently Blunt has been up to its usual ways, designing and manufacturing new products for the community. They have always been very innovative and these new products from them are proof of that. Max Peters shows off some of them in the scooter check below. Learn more in the piece below the scooter check.
In that scooter check we got to see a sneak peak of the new wheel Blunt is working on the “Rebate Wheel”. This wheel is designed for all you riders out there that are sick of buying new wheels after flat spotting or chunking them. Which is a big problem in our sport today. The idea behind it is you can change the PU over in minutes for a faction of the cost of buying a whole new wheel, something that we’ve never seen in the sport so far.
The other new product in this scooter check is the new and very much improved AOSv2 deck. Blunt has put a ton of money and time into developing, what they say, is a new era in scooter decks. The front of the deck is one piece cold forged, and unlike other one piece head tubes its fully hollow inside. This deck is expected to come in at 1250gms making it one of the strongest and lightest decks on the market.
Other news from Blunt, that is bound to get people’s attention, is the name change in Australia. Reasons for this are still cloudy, but what Inside has been told is that it’s a new direction Blunt is heading. So for everyone In Australia, Blunt is now called Envy, Anywhere else in the world. It’s still Blunt. If you want to keep up dated with Envy and new products go to www.facebook.com/envyscooters and of course, keep checking Inside-Scooters.

First up we got OG Danny Rambert with a scooter check. Starts it off pretty awesome haha. Some sick clips in the video as well. So check that out.
And next up a Scooter Zone How To. This one is from Matt Somers who came and stayed down in Southern Cali for a while to film for the Zone DVD. For those who don't know.. Matt is one of the most beast riders coming up today. This guy has style for miles, and is consistent as fuck. Yeah he is so consistent that I just used a word I don't consistently use in my consistent posts! Check out his "How To" Below.

Hey guys, this isn't really a scootering related post, but I wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of Hurricane Irene which is currently hitting the east coast. We got a lot of riders out there, and some of them are even in the path of this storm. So if you are in that area, stay safe and stay out of harms way...And if you aren't in that area, say a prayer or keep the people that are in that area in your thoughts. Thanks guys.

Sky High 3 for 1
Got a few updates here from Sky High Scooters...first is a street jam they're holding in downtown Chicago. It's always a blast riding in the city, if you're from the Chicagoland/Wisconsin are you should definitely try to make it down. Check out the flyer below:
Next is the addition of two new riders, one to the Local team, and the other to the Pro team. First up is Allie Benedyk joining the boys on the local team. She is always around riding with the local crew, so it seemed like a no brainer putting her on. On the Pro side, Sky High just added Tom Kvilhaug. Tom is also on the Tilt team along with Josh Young, and stayed with us for a week this summer, so we know he'll fit in.
And finally I finished a throwaway video last night of team rider Issac Miller. Big things coming from the flying tomato soon.

Peter Jungsberger Summer Edit
One of my new favorite riders to watch. He's got kind of a raw style, but his tricks are still clean. Really miss watching videos where the rider is shredding both street and park... Not a rider who rides park, trying to ride street, or vice versa. Really enjoyed this edit.
I expect we'll see more summer edits from riders soon, as summer is sadly, coming to an end.

ECX Heads to Ohio Dreams
The ECX Team recently went out to the Ohio Dreams Skatepark for a week, to be a part of their Summer Camp. From reading the piece below, it looked like it was an amazing team.
Team ECX headed to Butler Ohio for week 7 of Ohio Dreams Action Sports Camp and it was nothing less than an epic trip to add to the already incredible Summer Scooter Tour. The guys hit the road with the show trailer for a fun filled week at the legendary Ohio Dreams Camp for 7 days of scootering, filming, bmx racing, fishing, water sliding and more.
Ryan Upchurch, Hep Greg and Jon Devrind were Pro instructors for the week and a bunch of other team riders joined them to experience a total week long immersion of training and fun. The guys rode the park until the wee hours every night working on tricks and landing a few worlds firsts that you will get to see when the DVD is released in November. But for now, check out a little throwaway teaser that Ryan put together... The team has 3 more official stops before they wrap up filming and start editing the DVD.
The team is going to a contest in Perth Amboy NJ this weekend, The Razor Global Domination Tour Stop #2 at Rye Airfield NH and a day trip in NYC to film some street with Hep Greg. The ECX Summer Scooter Tour will have logged more than 5,000 miles and visited 18 cities and over 20 skateparks. This DVD is going to be a must have this Holiday. ECX is also putting together a full color 2012 calendar that will be included with the DVD! ECX Would also like to thank our tour sponsors Inside Scooters, Vitamin Water and the Newport Skatepark for their support this summer!
HepGreg footage = yessss.

Jordan Jasa....Throwaway?
There comes a time in every riders life... actually no. Tommy Daddono Sky High Edit
As you might know, the owner of Sky High Scooters is Tommy Daddono, who unlike most company owners today, actually rides scooters. When not at the office, Tdadd can usually be found at Northbrook skatepark, or if I have anything to do with it, a street spot. There is a bunch of street footage in here but Tommy is very much a park rider at heart, and is one of the smoothest riders in the game. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did filming it.

Josh Brown Summer Edit
It seems like "Big Street" riding has kinda taken the back seat to more tech style street riding. I'm perfectly ok with that, but sometimes I want to see some guys just hucking it out there. Josh Brown definitely does that in his latest edit. I really liked this video mainly because it's a style of riding that I feel is starting to fade away, as we make room for the "New Wave" of street riders. Check out Josh's edit below.

Raymond Warner Super 60
When I heard Raymond Warner made a Super 60, I knew instantly it was going to be one of the best we've seen. Well it is just that. Raymond is one of the most talented riders in the sport today, not to mention one of the nicest, if not the nicest rider I've ever met. If you've ever seen Raymond at a competition or anywhere, 98% of the time he will have a smile on his face. Some of the stuff he can do on a scooter, just shouldn't be happening. Yes, in this video there is a Whip to Super to Barspin.. Also keep an eye on the clock, at the beginning and look how fast he knocks out all those tricks.
Couldn't be more stoked on this Super 60. From the filming, to editing, to song choice. It all helped make this one of my favorite Super 60s we've ever gotten.

Tom Kvilhaug Tilt Edit
For most riders, when you take a horrific slam like Tom took on the barspin down the 16 set. It changes you as a rider in one way or another. I know some riders who have slammed like that, and it seems like they just lose their edge.

Some of the tricks in some of these videos are just beyond me. I really loved Ludo's video. Some insane stuff in there. It was my first time seeing Blunt France rider Charles Padel ride as well, and damn was I impressed. Great edits all around. Check em out.

Scooter Zone How To: HIC SZ Clamp + Cody Speake Bails
So my first memory of the Scooter Zone HIC Clamp was from a late night at Scooter Zone with Big James and Trick Darger, one minute we're all hanging out, next minute they robbed me of my scooter and had taken it to pieces. I'm sitting there like, "Wtf man!" Next thing I know they had the first model of the SZ HIC Clamp. I was pretty impressed haha. In this tutorial video, Trick Darger shows you guys exactly how it works.
Next up, Cody Speake. Legend of the sport, but being a legend doesn't mean you don't still slam. Cody's been going pretty hard with fakie and full cab tricks lately, so his bails are usually pretty gnarly. Check out some of them in the video below.

Bustin Cakes
Bustin Cakes is a full length video I filmed along with members of the Inward team last year. We kicked filming off during the Inward East Coast tour in July. The tour itself was awesome, spending a week with the guys just traveling around to ride, film, and meet the fans. There was a lot of rain but we managed to avoid it by making some unscheduled stops, and JP was able to get us into some skateparks where scooters weren't allowed, which was pretty cool. As for the video itself, it was only filmed over about 4 months, so we all had to get a lot of footage in a short amount of time...I think everyone worked pretty hard to get the clips they did. Be sure to check Matt Ogle's section, easily the banger section of the video. I'd like to thank JP once again for providing everyone the opportunity to travel and make this video.

Deleware's Jon Devrind took a trip up to New York City to ride with Jon Zegarra from Blunt. Taking a tech rider like Jon and putting him in some of NYC's best tech spots was a definite mix for success. Jon shows improvement with every video he puts out, I was even surprised at a few clips here. Awesome video.

Dialed Scooter Mag Details
Got an update for you guys about the upcoming US print magazine, Dialed Scooter Mag. As most of you know this magazine is being made by myself, and other riders in the sport. I really feel like that's the only way to really make a magazine for the riders of this sport.
I got some details for you guys about the first issue of Dialed Scooter Mag.
How many are we makin?
First up we will be printing 10,000 copies of the first issue. We originally planned to only do 3,500 copies..but decided that number was just too small. So we decided on 10,000. Keep in mind that number is going to rise for future issues. We want to make sure that everyone who wants a copy of Dialed, can get their hands on one.
Ok.. but how much does it cost..?
What about the price though? There are other magazines out that are charging you guys up to 5 bucks for an issue. Not at Dialed. For me this magazine is NOT about making money off of the riders who make this sport what it is. So what is the price going to be? Nothing. Zero. Nada. Free. You want a copy of the first issue? You got it. I will not be sticking a price tag on Dialed Scooter Mag. This magazine is for the riders of the sport, and the companies that helped make our industry what it is today, and there's just no way I can see myself charging you guys to get your hands on something I am happy, and proud to be able to provide you.
Where is it going to be available??
Dialed will be distributed all across the USA. From your favorite websites, to your favorite walk in shops. We will do our best to make sure that Dialed Scooter Mag is as easily obtainable as possible for you guys. If the website you buy parts from, or the shop you go into doesn't carry Dialed when it comes out. Shoot me an email, and let's change that asap!
So what's in the Magazine?
You will see some of your favorite companies and some of the sports top riders in Dialed Scooter Mag. From Razor, ScooterZone, Blunt, Phoenix Pro Scooters, and MGP and many more companies. To, Monky, Tyler Bonner, Dick Narger, TWhee, Jon Reyes, HepGreg, and more. We will have exclusive articles, columns, interviews, photos and more. Our content will be completely exclusive, and you will not be able to find it simply by looking online at forums or other websites. You want to see Dialed content? Get your hands on Dialed Scooter Mag.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... but when does it come out?!
Soon. All I will say right now, is soon. I am not going to jump the gun and name a release date, due to the fact that there are a LOT of small things that can go wrong while publishing a magazine that can add a few extra days onto the process. However, we WILL have a concrete date for you guys in the near future, and rest assured it will be released here on Inside-Scooters, and the Dialed Website, and Facebook.
Want more information on Dialed? Keep checking Inside-Scooters.

Addict's Alex Peasley AA
Everyone who has followed Peasley since his start in the sport, knows that he shreds like there is no tomorrow. Riders like Alex, that goes balls to the wall everytime they ride are what make watching his videos so much fun. I am definitely looking forward to Alex's section in the Addict "So What" DVD, set to come out in the near future.

Inward-Phoenix Northwest 2011 Tour
Inward and Phoenix have had a close relationship ever since the beginning of Phoenix's existence. Both of their teams are extremely popular and have a lot of talent, so it seemed natural for the two companies to hook up on their own Tour together. You might recall last year's Inward East Coast tour which went very well despite a bunch of weather-related setbacks. This the crew along with member's of Phoenix's team will be touring in Oregon and Washington from August 6th-11th. Check out the table below for tour stops, which are subject to change-
Check the Inward Facebook for more information.

Scooter Zone How To: 540 on Flat with Ryan Gould
Ryan is a severely underrated rider. He's a so cal local with one of the cleanest styles I've seen out of there in a long time. Combine that with his tech style and peg destruction, and you got one hell of a rider. Check out his Scooter Zone How To below.
Oh, and for those who don't know.. The SZ How To Curse, is where the guys mess up landing the trick "first try". I think it's clear, the curse kicked Ryan's ass.

ECX Summer Tour in Ocean City, MD Recap
ECX is currently on their Summer Tour, sponsored by ourselves at Inside-Scooters, and of course Vitamin Water. Their last stop was Ocean City in Maryland where they got to check out the Dew Tour first hand. To hear about the trip, read the piece below.
The ECX Summer Scooter Tour rolled through Ocean City MD last week during the 2011 Dew Tour to help introduce the masses to our sport! The Dew Tour made its first stop this year in Ocean City and since it's only 2 hours south of ECX's home base, we decided to pack up the show trailer and infiltrate the world of Action Sports on a grand scale. Although the Dew Tour doesn't officially recognize freestyle scooters, we made sure everyone knew we were there. The guys rode all over Ocean City telling everyone about our sport. We also got some help from a local skatepark in Ocean City that let us host a two hour Scooter Only Demo on Saturday night. ECX Pro Riders Hep Greg, Ryan Upchurch, Jon Devrind and Brandon Ruhl were on hand with most of the team to showcase the sport at a great concrete park. The Vitamin Water girls came out to support the guys with massive amounts of icy cold Vitamin Waters!
Aside from the team doing work, they also got to catch some rays, play in the surf and watch some crazy BMX and skate Vert action on the beach at the Dew Tour. The ECX Team is dedicated to promoting the sport of Freestyle Scootering one park at a time and the Ocean City tour stop was no exception! ECX would like to thank the sponsors of the tour for their continued support. Vitamin Water, Inside Scooters and the Newport Skate Park. After about a week and a half break, the ECX crew is back on the road again this Saturday for a week long stay at Ohio Dreams Action Sports Camp. Stay tuned to IS for a full recap of the ECX invasion of Ohio Dreams in two weeks... there may even be a video edit too!

Jackson Manzie in California
This is whats up. I'd have to say after watching this footy that Jackson is the most legit Australian in the game. I don't usually preach what I think should be done in this sport on Inside but I will tell you right now that if we want real respect from skateboarders we need more riders whom ride like this. Not hucking a million different scooter flippy whippy combinations. Raw street riding, and well-filmed videos documenting it.

Raymond Warner
Been waiting for a new Rayray edit for some time and now we have it. It's short and sweet but oh boy is it to the point. Ever wonder why you always see the name "Raymond Warner" on the contest result postings we do? Watch this and you'll never have to wonder again. Raymond is seriously one of the best and most dialed riders in the world and this enforces my opinion. i told Raymond my opinion and this is what he had to say... "sweet. thank you. it's just throwaway though". If this is just throwaway I'm dearly looking forward to the full edit.

Gizmania Summer Tour Stop in Pasohlavky
We're sorry we couldn't bring you footage from stop number 2, the footage got a little lost, but is being recovered now. Once we have it, we will post it up.
For now you guys can check out some shots and footage from stop number 3. The weather ended up being pretty bad, it rained a lot and they only had one scooter rider for this stop on the Tour, that rider was George Gartlehner of Austria. It's always good to see scooter riders shredding with bikers. Be on the look out for more Gizmania tour footage, we should have it soon.
