Ben Jelinek | Summer 2014

Started in February, Ben went hard this summer to get this edit for TSI done.  Shredding the Pacific Northwest, Ben kills it. Front board 270 on that outrail was rad and so was that huge wallride.  Tons of rail riding in this one.

Jona Humbel pumps TSI

You all know the kinda stuff Jona is doing these days from the Instagram videos.  Check out this footage filmed over the past six months, before he became handrail Jesus (not that he wasn't good at them back then).  He's on TSI now but I feel like he'll be picking up another sponno soon enough...

Ben Jelinek TSI 2014

Ben has been comin up in the scene for a minute now, and seeing him over winter break in California, I didn't realize how good he had gotten.  It's pretty official now, he killed it in this video.  Fast lines, big rails, gaps.  Street slayer for sure.

TSI - Road to SD8

The TSI crew, consisting of Travis House, Nick Toigo, Chase Robertson, and Ben Jelinek, hopped in a car and drove from Portland to San Diego for the SD8 competition/Tilt Premiere/good times.  They met up with ThomKat and KC as well.  Travis documented the shredding and came up with this rad video. Good stuff.

With the tall slayer bars, hair up in a bun, and the rail skills, you might confuse Ben for Matt McKeen.  I haven't really seen much of Ben before, but I'll be sure to keep him in the radar after this video.  You all remember that rail hop Stefan Hefner tried in Seattle...well Ben took that one step further.

TSI: Portland/St John's Mix

Travis House has been in Portland for a while now and got this footage while Hep Greg was in town, along with KC Corning for TSI, which has a new website.  There are some additional clips from Travis' native St. John's, Canada.  These guys all shred with such unique styles.  Super chill footage.

TSI: PDX Parktage

Hep Greg, KC Corning, Travis House, and even the Thom Cat are featured in this video from TSI.  Some really steezy shredding from everyone.  Greg's pocket air downside whip was one of the coolest things I've seen in a minute.

Inside Exclusive: Jon Knudtson- Threshold

You might remember Jon's Bamboozle part, filmed entirely in Boston.  Since then, Jon relocated to the Midwest, and I was able to film this video of him over the past 8 months or so.  A true shredder doing his own thing, Jon is one of the funnest, nicest guys to be around.  Matt Rittler comes through with some guest clips as well.

Serjey Noga Welcome to TSI

Serjey is definitely back and killing it. I first met him back in Washington, when he was like 4 feet tall, and just a little dude, and he already had skill. He's riding for TSI now, and looks like the deck is a perfect fit for him, cause he shreds hard in this edit. My kind of park edit for sure.

Dan Holm and Jake Show TSI Edit

Two of the best park riders getting down at the MegaZone. Dan Holm is personally my favorite rider when it comes to real park riding, and Jake Show is an OG who has some of the best style in the game. They both ride for TSI, and they break down the Threshold, and stack some clips after. Check it out.

Dan Holm Scooter Check

Dan Holm is one of the riders who I consider to be a real park rider. When I say that, I mean he can actually ride transition, and use an entire park. While Dan can boost mini ramps, quarters, hips, and vert ramps, that's not to say he can't throw down tech bangers as well. Easily one of the cleanest riders in the sport. He recently got a scooter check done, and you can get a sneek peek of his soon to drop Signature Bars from Scooter Zone, and his signature TSI Threshold deck. Seriously.. how good does that deck look.. Check out the edit below.

TSI Endub Edit 2012

Hep Greg spent some time this past winter in the Endub to film with TSI.  Of course it rained and snowed a lot while he was there but he still managed to clock some clips.  This video was made to promote the new TSI deck, a signature Hep Greg street deck.  The thing looks pretty dope from what I've seen.  A bunch of other TSI riders are featured in the video too, including Chase Robertson, Nick Toigo, and KC Corning.

Hep Greg is the sickest.  I was able to spend a weekend with him when he was on his way to Cali with Dylan Kasson and Elmer.  They stopped by in Chicago and it was really cool getting to ride/hang out with him since I've never really been able to do so before.  His riding is so lush and fun to watch, one of my favorites for sure.

TSI Pro Rider: Jake Show

Well, if you don't know about Jake Show, all I can really say is that I feel kinda bad for you. Jake is an OG in the sport for sure. For myself, and some of the other OGs that date back to the "Thrill Zone" competitions, our first memories of Jake are probably of him showing up at the competition and just shredding. He was really quiet, but his riding wasn't. Jake still throws down, and I've been a fan of him since 2006. Check the clips out below that Nick Darger had sitting on his computer ever since he filmed them last year.

New TSI Flight Deck

The original aftermarket deck company, Trick Scooters International, recently put out a new model of decks called the Flight Deck.  This deck, nine months in the making, actually comes in two versions:  The Flight 19, and Flight 20.  As you may tell from their names, the Flight 19 deck is 19 inches long, and the Flight 20 is 20 inches long.  The 19 has an 81 degree headtube angle, similar to the old Freestyler.  This is more of a deck for street/trick riders, having a weight of 3.5 pounds.  As you can see from the pictures, both decks taper in width.

TSI also continues their tradition of having great decks for park/flow riders by releasing the Flight 20 version of the Flight Deck.  This deck features a wheelbase 1 inch longer than a Pro Model, and also includes a 52 degree downtube...to give you plenty of room for footjams and noseblunts (a favorite of KC Corning).  TSI's innovation shows again in the new "continuous curve concave" design that is meant to fit your shoes.

Price of the F19 deck will be $130 and the F20 coming in at $150.  But, to introduce the F19, TSI is having a special sale price of just 100 dollars for the first 100 F19 decks sold.  Pre-orders start on Friday, March 25 and they expect to have the first batch out in time for next month's Cootercon.  These things look pretty sick, I'd definitely suggest looking into one if you're in need of a new deck.
