Cam Ward 2014 Web Edit

Cameron Ward is known for his effortless style, meaning he basically makes everything look like it's extremely easy, when 99% of the time, it's not. I've been close friends with Cam since he was just a young boy, and I've had the privilege of seeing him progress over the years..but even those last two clips in this edit caught me way off guard. Still waiting to see a solid dirt edit from Cam in the future. For now this will do.

Cam Ward is getting ready for the 2013 competition season, and part of that means just getting out and riding. This was filmed in one session, and it's always good to see riders out there having fun and not taking everything super serious, which is what Cam has always been about. Check it out

How does Cam Ward get his practice in?

Obviously riding his own private ramp. Cameron has come a long way, and literally had to progress and mature all while being entered in dozens of competitions each year. He went from taking the top spots in Amateur divisions, to now placing up there with some of the best in the Pro divisions of competitions from here to the UK and back. Currently Cam is in the UK at the ISA World Championships. Hope he did well.

The next interview that Ben from Skates did was with District's Cam Ward.  In this Cam talks about the competition, the future of the sport, his current setup, and future sig parts.  I find it amazing that Cam had a white scooter for nearly 3-4 years.  I know kids that can't keep a setup for more than a week before trading/buying other parts.  

Cam Ward Fatal Clothing Day Video

Cam Ward recently got sponsored by Fatal Clothing. Cam is the first scooter rider that Fatal has approached with a sponsorship... well, kind of. Upon looking at Fatal's website, and seeing some of the Motocross guys they sponsor, I saw an OG who I haven't heard about in a long time, Dereck Beckering. The name might not be familiar to newer riders, but older riders definitely know about Dereck. Props to Cam for the sponsorship. Check out the day video below.

Cam Ward Throwaway

If you know Cam, you know that he makes all of his tricks look absolutely effortless. He does exactly that in this throwaway video with some clips from Woodward. Just casually boosting hips and quarters like it's no big deal. I'm interested to check out Cam's next real edit. I'd like to see him put some serious time into it, because when it comes to being an all around rider, Cam is up there with some of the best. Check out his throwaway below.

Cam Ward: February Edit

I am the only one disappointed in this?  Yes it shows Cam doing a lot of really clean, technical tricks, but I know Cam is better than this.  I haven't even seen the kid ride in person in nearly a year but his consistency is something that has always wow'd me (and helped him place well in competitions).  All this video was was single quarterpipe tricks.  Cam can do a lot more tricks on a lot more obstacles.  I'm not sure why he chose to film just quarterpipe tricks (or why anyone other than Brendon Smith does) but at least they weren't nunchuck tricks.

Razor Global Domination Tour Stop #1 Results

Stop number 1 took place today at the Esco skatepark, and it kicked off what is sure to be one hell of a competition series. You can see the top 3 riders below.

3rd Place- Cameron Ward
2nd Place- Raymond Warner
1st Place- Dakota Schuetz


To be honest these three riders, each had an even chance at taking 1st place, all of them are that good. Though Dakota has proven himself time and time again at competitions. I sometimes wonder if there are any riders that can ride at a competition level the way Dakota does. With two more stops ahead, I can see quite a few guys making it extremely difficult for Dakota to take the top spot.
