Jake Hershey: I Do What I Can

You might not think that Jake can shred, mainly because half the time you see him, he has a mic in his hands, and is announcing another competition. But I remember seeing clips of Jake a year or so ago, and was pretty shocked that he can throw down like he does. He has some serious flow going on when he hits a park, and those Megaramp clips, Mmmm. Overall, one of the nicest, most genuine dudes in the sport today. Stoked to see him drop a full edit.

Megaramp Session with Luke Burland and Ryan Williams

There is a reason that Ryan Williams, and now I believe Luke Burland as well, are a part of the Nitro Circus show, because they kill the mega ramp. Very few riders, despite talking a lot of shit, can actually really go out and hit the mega ramp, and throw down. R Willy has proven time and time again that no one comes close to his skill on the Mega, and I am stoked to see what Luke brings to the Nitro Circus shows which I believe start up soon.

Woodward East Scooter Fest 2012

Josh Toy shot and edited this video from Woodward East. There is plenty of Megaramp footage from everyone. The song sounds super familiar, but I can't place it. Everyone kills it, but this really showcases just how much of a powerhouse Raymond Warner is. To throw down the tricks hes throwing down over the mega is pretty ridiculous. And there is some quarterpipe air footy as well. Really sick edit.

Phoenix Scooters Presents Scooters at Woodward East

So in case you've been living under a rock, Woodward East finally opened its doors to allow scooters for one week.  Phoenix sponsored the camp and sent a bunch of riders to shred, including Josh Toy, Josh Kish, Dan Barrett, Jon Reyes, and Raymond Warner.  You'll see all those guys and more in this video.  The Megaramp was also opened to ride and it looks like a lot of people threw down on it.  I'm kinda disappointed that there wasn't any footage of people hitting the quarter, but I did spot this photo of Gus Rymer, taken by Tyler Bonner.  Pretty sick stuff.

Ryan Williams at the Nitro Circus

This video consists of Ryan talking about his experiences during the Nitro tour and then shows some clips of him riding the Gigantaramp (or whatever they call it).  Riding starts at 2:40.  Mind blowing seeing him do these tricks.  I wanna see Mitch land the triple backflip, thats so crazy to even think about trying that.

Ryan Williams Giganta Ramp Practice

MGP's Ryan Williams honestly makes it looks easy, but trust me...you'd never see me or 70% of the riders that talk about how "they would totallyyy do the mega ramp" up there shredding it like it was a kicker the way Ryan does. The ScooterHut+Nitro Circus tour this year is one that I think really helped bring more attention to our sport. A huge part of that is due to the riders from MGP and Blunt taking part in it alongside Scootering legend, Andrew Broussard. Check out Ryan's practice footage below

Andrew Broussard Bites the Big One.

This pretty much confirms what we all thought went down a few weeks ago, when a thread popped up on a forum with rumors of a scooter rider dying on the megaramp. Well we later figured out that it was Andrew, and of course that he didn't die (I forget what exactly happened, just some knocked out teeth and stitches I think). So crazy of him even trying that though, you Aussies better make it to the Nitro Circus shows, its gonna be a treat.
