Jason Beggs Signature Phase Two Scooter Breakdown
Wow. Razor coming in hot with the Phase Two label. Team manager/professional fun haver Ali Kermani goes over Jason Begg's pro model scooter. This is so awesome to see Razor finally stepping it up and making a real effort to introduce actual freestyle scooters onto the market. That's not something I ever would have expected back in the day (after witnessing quality of Razor scooters decrease year after year). Crow style bars, HIC, integrated, 110mm metalcores, flat sides and bottom...could these scooters compete with Maddgear's series of completes? Time will tell.

the deck and everything looks solid, but the only thing I'm concerned about is hot skinny the back drop outs are :/
ReplyDeleteOMG that has to be the sickest scooter i have ever seen!!! My respect for razor just increased dramatically!!! The razor team has definitely designed a scooter that is going to DOMINATE the competition around the WORLD. Where can i get one in the US and how much are they going for????<3
ReplyDeleteRazor marketing reps trying too hard.
DeleteOh gawd ahahaha ^
DeleteDamn razor is stepping up there game
ReplyDeletelooks ten times better than mgp
ReplyDeletestill looks gay
ReplyDeletemark ass bitch. this is the best thing razor has ever done and its not gay looking. its a basic scooter and this video actually made me wanna get one.
Deletethis scooter looks so sick and so solid. i just kinda wished they gave the dimensions of the deck.
ReplyDeletedef. a big step up. but those drop outs look scary haha.
ReplyDeletethey're 4.2" - 4.3" wide. And they're amazing! www.razorscooters.com has them I believe.
ReplyDeleteJust a couple things I have to say. 1. remove the bearing race. brilliant. now nobody but integrated users can use that fork (why you would even want to at all). theres a reason forks still have it.
ReplyDeletealso, when he says HIC, doesnt the hidden part mean hidden in the BARS not the shim? I dont know. half the welds on that looked like crap, the others looked amazing, so i dont really know what to say. also how does one put pegs on the back? and finally, wtf stealing districts brake style and calling it their own? wtf razor, go away.
^ Wtf? I'm using a Phase Two Fork on my Ultra Pro...
ReplyDeleteand the Braking System is nothing like a District.
Working on scooters for over 3 years as my job has taught me a lot. And believe me, I thought the same thing about the form race not being interchangeable, but it is. Alot of fork races are as long as they are smaller than the correct one and as long as you are using it on a sealed headset. I've personally seen this fork on a variety of headsets, rest assure they planned that part out before they made it guys.
ReplyDeleteaha you kids need to learn how to have respect for your sport. its not about whos scooter is the best or even whos the best. Ride enjoy yourself and stop worried about also getting sponsored. im 21 and weigh about 160 and mobb harder then most of you complaining and ive been riding a complete Phase 2 for the last like 4 or 5 months even after having a district, tsi,and lucky. and not one of those companies was horrible. they all got the job done. but definently this phase 2 has got to be the best and not to mention smoothest scoot ive ever ridden. everyone has there personal preferance
