Remebering Chris Gribble
Last year on December 9th, Chris Gribble, a local New Jersey rider was killed in a car accident. As most people know New Jersey has a really strong scene, and it was due to riders like Chris who helped build that scene.
Our community is not as big as we like to think it is. Which is why a lot of us form such strong friendships with each other. Sometimes with people we haven't even met before. Which is why when we lose a rider like this, it really does impact all of us. Chris was one hell of a rider that's for sure. He was one of the first riders that started doing barrel rolls. Not to mention one of the first riders who took backflips to street, and out of parks, back in 2007.
Take a small amount of time out of your day today to remember Chris Gribble. Doesn't matter if you knew him or not. He was a rider, just like you are. That's all we need to know, to know that he is someone that will truly be missed.
RIP Chris.
Below are some words from one of Chris's friends, Mohamed Alsulaibi..
"Chris Gribble was a great kid i looked up to him so much when i was younger and he really helped become the rider i am today.
This December 9th will be his one year since he past away so i just wanted you all to see this video of him and know that if it wasn't for Chris the East coast Scooter scene would never be like this.
I love you man and i miss you rest easy bro <3" - Mohamed Alsulaibi
