VertX Two for One: Austin Neura Promo and East Coast Trip with Dom Marconi and Matt Dibble
First up we have Austin Neura, a young boy street shredder from Ohio. He puts down some pretty big tricks. Hurricane on that roof rail must have been so scary. Bummer on that song though.
Next is a video of Dom Marconi and Matt Dibble riding New Jersey, NYC and Philadelphia. Matt unfortunately had a broken hand but amazingly still was able to get some clips. Dom came through with some sick stuff, that whip finger into the bank was dope. Logan Fuller has some guest clips too. Check it.

Matt Dibble 2012 Footage
Matt is one of my all-time favorite people to have ridden a scooter. Most people probably weren't around/don't remember a few years ago when Dibbs was one of the most well-liked people in the sport. He did fade away a bit (I think this is his first video since 2009), but he is still sponsored by VertX and makes it out to a couple events over the year. He also managed to lose a lot of weight, but sadly gained a baldspot. Anyways I'm hyped on his footage, check it out.

VertX P.I.S.T. System?
Well first off, props to VertX for trying something that no ones really tried before in our industry. With the exception of DSA and the Cambo Fork. This is quite a bit different though. The details are pretty scarce so far, but I do have some info from VertX, and a few photos as well. I'd like to see a video of the installation later on though. What do you guys think about this?
P.I.S.T. will give you options, and just as
importantly it will save you money. This
may be the last fork you ever need to buy. We will be posting pictures and pricing next
week. P.I.S.T will go on sale November 23, 2012 on our web site
www.vertxscooters.com"
"Now that the International Patent application has been filed
we can release the new P.I.S.T. system to you our loyal fans.
Let me introduce you to our new Patent Pending “Positive
Interlocking Steer Tube” (P.I.S.T) from VertX. We have designed a method that
allows you the rider to change the Steer Tube of a fork. We have developed a connection system that is
stronger than any bonded connection can be.
You can increase strength and not add weight. With P.I.S.T. you can now ride a steer tube made out of the
standard 6160 aluminum or 4130 Chromalloy steel which is many times
stronger. If you want to change from a
threaded to threadless system, or go from a shortened fork to the standard
length, or, a short SCS compression to a full size type you can. You won’t need to buy a whole new fork, or,
cut the one you have. With P.I.S.T. you
can choose a combination that fits any setup you prefer. For a fraction of the cost of a new fork you
can buy the steer tube size, style and material you want and install it
yourself. If you change your set up,
then in the future change your mind, just change back to the original steer
tube. Forks are easy to cut but making
them longer again is a little harder.

Trevor Fitzpatrick Parksylvania
Trevor worked on this one for a couple of months, and it came out pretty good. While it is a "park" edit, you're not going to see Trevor blasting over gaps, or hitting quarters. This is the kind of park edit that happens when you have a street rider, riding parks. Lots of tech lines throughout. Doin it for VertX.

VertX Week at Ohio Dreams
The VertX Team recently spent a week at Ohio Dreams, and they were able to get enough footage to make a pretty solid edit. You'll also notice Matt Dibble has a clip or two, I learned that he was recently added to the VertX Pro Team.
The Deck they're riding is Dom Marconi's signature deck, called the "Forza" Deck. It looks pretty sick. Following the trend of decks with flat sides, as opposed to sharp sides, is a definite plus. You can buy one now by clicking the link below.

Ricky Cox VertX Website Edit

Ricky recently got on VertX, and got a whole new set up from them. He is still getting used to it, and since there has been so much rain lately, he was forced to film all of this at the Epic Skatepark. Ricky has been progressing a lot over the past year, and now with a good sponsor behind him, let's hope that continues.

Trevor Fitzpatrick VertX Website Promo
Tfitz recently got on Vertx, and filmed this in two weeks...I really wanna see him get out of his home area and ride some real street, he'd shred it hard. Issac Miller and Cooper Klaar are so mad at the last trick.

Kenny Griffin VertX Sponsor Video
This is a young kid from northern Cali. Kenny does some cool stuff and some wack stuff but he definitely has potential. He's a name to remember in the future for sure. And if you don't remember it, he will make sure you see his name...trust me on that haha.

Trevor Fitzpatrick VertX Sponsor Video
Trevor has a lot of potential. He shows that he definitely has a lot of skill in this video (last line is pretty unreal). I just want to fast forward and see what hes doing a year or two down the line.

VertX Pro Sponsorship Competition
US team manager for VertX Dom Marconi recently informed me of an ongoing competition to find riders to put on the team. Like the Lucky Flow team competition, but VertX is actually looking for riders to sponsor on the Professional level. VertX hopes to find 5-6 riders to put on the team. What exactly are they looking for? What do you need to do to be considered for the team? Read on:
Requirements are-
- No longer than 3 minutes
- Uploaded to Youtube
- Title must be *Insert name* VertX Sponsorship Video
- Link to video emailed to vertxcomp@live.com
- Must be sent in by February 7th
- Name
- Age
- City and state
- How long you have been riding
- Why you want to be added to the team
- Why you should be chosen for the team
Dom also had this to say:
- I better not get any emails with major grammatical errors EI dont tok lyke dis
- Make sure you take your time with your resume as well as your video. BE BROFESSIONAL
- The videos will not only be judged on riding, but on editing and filming. We would prefer the team to not be promoted by kids filming on their cell phones.
- I don't want to see an all-street or an all-park video (unless you are really good at one). I like to see a mix of riding. (Once again, unless you are very skilled in one or the other area).
- Have fun and show me what you got! This is a great opportunity and the stakes are high!
Seems like a good opportunity if you've been looking to get sponsored, good luck guys!
