FinScooter Oulu Trip 2013

FinScooter was started by Helmeri Pirinen and it has grown unbelievably. Helmeri is one of the nicest guys in the sport, and the fact that he owns a shop is awesome. Not to mention he still shreds hard. The FinScooter guys recently went on a trip, and this is some of the footage they got. All of them are stylish as hell.

Helmeri Pirinen- District Promo

Helmeri has such a unique style which is clearly documented in this video.  Rock rides, firecrackers, footplants...Don't see many of those tricks in your average scooter video.  That's why this guy is on District.  This is worth a watch or two.

FinScooter Shop and Two Weekends with Helmeri Pirinen

My close friend Helmeri has been making some big moves over in Finland, one of those being FinScooter Shop. With scene blowing up over there, (a huge reason for that is of course Helmeri) this is something that I think will really help the scene continue to grow over there.

And now a video featuring Helmeri that Otto Markjarvi filmed and edited in two weekends. It's pretty obvious after watching this, that Helmeri shreds extremely hard. In my opinion some of his best clips yet. I think with some riders who are labled with a "Sketchy" style, speed is the key ingredient to getting rid of that label. Helmeri really stepped it up here. Good stuff.

First off I want to apologize for not updating IS much in the past couple days, haven't had a legit internet connection lately.  I do right now though, so I checked my Youtube homepage to see if any new videos had come out, and spotted this.  Some really ridiculous tricks in here, if not a little sketchy...but still a fun video to watch.

Dissidence Street Jam v2

Now here is a comp that looks fun.  Taking place in Paris, France, the 2nd Dissidence Street Jam brought over 300 riders together to sesh and have fun.  Riders came from all over the world, from places like the US, Switzerland, Spain, Australia, Peru, Finland, and more to ride in the jam.  Huge props to Maxime for trying that 20 stair rail hop/bar and of course Helmeri for landing that board down that Berci ledge.  I hope some more footage finds its way online, it definitely looks like there were plenty of filmers/photographers.

Helmeri is usually a street rider, but in this video he is riding all park...but don't let that fool you, as he shreds a bunch of street obstacles in the park. He is soo gnarly, 5050 that down flat down ledge, whip to lip on the rail...one of the best ledge/rail riders in the sport for sure. Especially for riding no pegs.

You might recognize this guy from RVM3. He's the one who does the like 20 stair (wooden) handrail. Helmeri definitely shreds, I love his street style, its a lot different than what you usually see today. He's also from Finland, which is pretty rad. Enjoy.
