Micro Euro Tour Clip of the Day 1,2,3,and 4

Micro is definitely back, and they're making sure everyone knows it. They picked up Team riders from The US, AUS, and parts of Europe and they got them all together for a big tour across Europe. These dudes can ride it all, park, street, rails, anything. You'll also notice right off the bat that these guys have a lot of fun together. They're not one of those Teams where their only "Team" activity is filming, or all at a contest hardly sharing a word together. They make it look fun, and they definitely shred in the process. Micro Makes a Comeback

Some would say you need to be pretty OG to know, and remember Micro. Don’t worry because that is changing soon with their new line of products, and an entire new Team to represent them in Europe, UK, AUS, and US. Micro is somewhat iconic and remembered in our sport mainly for the metal core wheels they made so many years ago. They were the first real metal core wheels that people started to really buy, despite their expensive price.. But we’ve come a long way since their wheels.

I’m sure some of you also remember their “one piece deck” with the neck tube that had to be bolted on? Which thinking back on now, was one of the first flat sided “box” decks on the market. It’s just a shame it was so heavy haha. The years passed, and the Micro Team faded away, or moved onto other companies, and it took a while, but Micro is back, and this time, they’re here to stay.

The Team has been recreated from the ground up. Not only that, but legend of the sport, BenJ Friant is back with Micro. BenJ spent some time with District, but after countless broken promises, and ridiculous amounts of money stolen from him, he made the decision to leave the company. To go along with the new Team, they have the new scooters, and they’re looking good. Micro will be in events all across the world, from Peru to Mexico, to the USA, and a European Tour. The Swiss company is back, and they intend to push Micro harder than ever.

Below you can check out some photos of the scooter, and also BenJ’s latest edit. It proves again that BenJ is one of the best in this sport, and now that he’s back with Micro we can all expect to see him continue to kill it.

"Back to the Source" BenJ Friant 2012

I have to say that I am glad to see BenJ back with MicroExtreme. The beginning of the video pretty much explains how BenJ feels about it.

BenJ never had a point in the sport where he had to prove himself, he has always been known as one of the sports best all around riders. Yet he still manages to push himself with every single edit he drops. Whether he is riding in the snow, or street, or park, you know he will be pushing himself. Seeing him hit that big ass kicker gap really makes me wish BenJ got a shot at the Mega Ramp. I honestly think he would tear it up. Check out one of BenJ's best below, and get ready to start seeing the new Micro Extreme decks here in the US soon.

EDIT:  Apparently some of these clips were in his part in the Elyts DVD so he took it down.  I kinda wondered about that.  Bummer since more people would have watched this than the DVD.



So you may have heard BenJ recently dropped his District sponsorship in favor of Micro, who sponsored him a few years back.  Apparently this switch led him to lose his ability to barspin.  Just kidding, but as usual this BenJ video contains mostly insane whip combos (and no barspins).  Loving the street clips he had too.  I'm also kind of amazed that he hasn't gotten to hit the Megaramp yet.

ELYTS UK Tour Life Part 1

ELYTS recently finished up their UK Tour promoting the new products, and the upcoming "Stylites" DVD. ELYTS filmer Phil was couldn't make the trip, So someone else filmed all this and put it into the edit below. ELYTS riders featured are, Lewis Williams, BenJ Friant, and of course, Zig Short. ELYTS in The UK with Skates.co.uk

ELYTS is on the UK Tour right now promoting the new shoes, and hanging out with various UK riders. They recently went to Bay 66 in London, and rode with the Skates.co.uk Team. Representing ELYTS was Zig Short and BenJ Friant who both did their thing. You also get to see some of the Skates.co.uk Team riding as well.

I didn't even know Micro had a team anymore, and I have no idea what ONEEIGHTY is, but the riders featured in this video (Benj Friant, Jerry Walther, Fernando Young, and Daniel Franco) all shred, so check this out.

ELYTS @ Gizmania + ELYTS Spring Line Preview

Recently Elyts was on tour in europe. While we were there, Gizmania set up a nice demo for Zig and Benje to come out and ride with the kids. The turnout was huge, lots of kids showed up to show there support. Watch for the added sneak peak of the new line of elyts apparel coming out. Stay Tuned.

Benjamin Friant "Clips in the Trash"

Some more insane footage from one of the world's best riders.  This is all footage from the end of 2011.  Super crazy park and street lines.  I feel like the backflip to can plant would be really painful on your knee/ankle...BenJ is just a superman.

BenJ Friant- District Promo

Don't get me wrong, BenJ's videos are always super crazy when they come out.  But the last couple seemed a little less crazy as previous videos.  With this video, however, you could tell that it was going to be amazing right off the bat.  BenJ once again proves he is on top of the combo game, doing tricks steezy clean with speed.  Footage near the end there makes me wonder why this guy isn't the one traveling with the Nitro Circus guys doing the Megaramp...I can't imagine what BenJ would throw down on one of those.

BenJ Friant District Snowscoot Project 2010-2011

This video may or may not be the sickest...you'll just have to watch to find out.  I'm a little confused though...did District actually make a snow scooter?  If so, I wanttttt.  Let us know what the deal with that is BenJ!

Madd Europe Montreux Night Sesh

The Madd Euro team (not to be confused with the UK team) recently filmed a session in Switzerland. The team consists of Jojo Cajas (whose older brother Michael is featured a couple posts down for getting on Addict), Remi Bouchard, Ludovic Pistat, Viktor Zonho, Julian Zieger, and BenJ Friant. Those crazy tweaked tuck no deck grabs that Remi are so wild, who else does those? And who 180s flyboxes? Like every other branch of the Madd team, the Euro guys kill it.

BenJ Friant Snowscoot 09/10

This is pretty slow at the beginning but gets pretty crazy towards the middle...quad whip on that thing? Fronty tuck...Benj throws bangers. I wanna see more people shredding snow scooters, I know KC Corning has like a TSI snow scoot. Be sure to check out BenJ's MGP 2010 Edit if you haven't seen it already.

So it looks like this Freestyle.ch, is some action sports festival dealy...and the Micro team got to do some riding in front of tons of people. Think I saw a clip of Ludovic Pistat in there, haven't seen that kid since Montruex 07 video...watch for BenJ and Martin Nogol killing the mini. Awesome video, looks like it was ton of fun.
