Blunt Welcomes TWO New Team Riders
People have been following the assembly of the Blunt USA Pro Team since the announcement that they would be having a Team here in the US.
It started off by putting on two of the most underrated riders in the sport, street killers Erik Feenstra and Josh Young.
Erik Feenstra
Josh Young
The next two riders to join Josh and Erik are two amazing riders to say the least. With one being able to throw 900 airs in quarters, and the other being able to land 1080s, and both having a huge list of other tricks both in park and street. One of them is one of the fastest up and coming all around riders in the sport, and the other is known by most as the best tech rider in the scootering today...It was a no brainer to accept the following two riders onto Blunt Scooters USA Pro Team.
Jordan Jasa
Ryan Upchurch
You can expect brand new Blunt USA Edits from both of these guys soon. You recognize Jordan and Ryan most likely from the Teams they used to ride for. Their reasons for leaving are their own, and there is no animosity from them towards the companies they used to ride for. So any attempts to create drama in the comments, won't be approved.
Congratulations to Ryan Upchurch and Jordan Jasa as the newest Blunt USA Riders.

i think the new teams should be picking up new riders rather than the ones who are already so well known. this sport needs some new faces. seriously. Jon Knudson *cough *cough
ReplyDelete-Tom C.
I always forget how tech Jordan really is when I just see him on tinychat loathing about the rain or snow with his shirt off. And Ryan just destroys park and street like it's no big deal. Congrats you two!
ReplyDeletewow y jordan. hes really good don't get me wrong. hes one of the most tech riders in our sport. but i hear he's just the biggest asshole in person. even on the forums too he just acts like such a no-it-all..
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the both of you!!
ReplyDeleteMy boy Ryannnn <333
Does this mean that ryans of district?
ReplyDeleteThats the sickest most creative tech riding ive ever seen.. amazing.
ReplyDeleteSuper interesting, never thought for a million years that Ryan would leave District, haha. Seems all the teams under FSP Group are kind of falling apart. And Jordan leaving Inward is interesting too. This is of course assuming they left and don't have an agreement for certain parts from each of the companies. Either way, Congrats to all four of the team riders so far. The team is pretty dialed.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that Jon Knudtson guys sure is good.

ReplyDeletewhat is happening!? i dont like change!
i like what Josh said
ReplyDeleteone small step for man
ReplyDeleteone large leap for flatlanders
why jordan jasa
ReplyDeleteto the ppost above me, why not???
ReplyDeleteHes an amazin tech rider
when you see blunt aus team they have some crazy ass riders that throw some amazing shit like max peters, adam rouse and brendon smith but it seems like blunt usa is on the tech side with eric f,josh young and jordon jasa, its weird, there all great riders but i thought they were gonna have some crazy riders.
ReplyDeleteI hate how teams only pick known riders for teams. Like seriously No teams EVER pick unknown riders. It's always the people that have been sponsored before. I know a handful of people that sent in videos and are better than half the people on blunt but didn't get picked cause there unknown. Ryan and Jordan had amazing sponsors before this. I know it's there decision to leave but you guys should expand your team or something and get unknown riders. Cause everyone on this team, has be sponsored. It's unfair for people who weren't sponsored before to not have a chance. Just cause there not involves with the online scooter scene and are post whores on websites doesn't mean they can't shred. Whatever this probably won't get posted cause it's negative but I got out what's on my mind.
ReplyDeleteto the anonymous above...
ReplyDeletelike
Anonymous person.
ReplyDeleteIf you can name the riders right now, that are in your handful of riders that are better than the guys on Blunt...By all means go ahead.
I have replied to each and every person who has sent in a video. So I know everyone that is trying out for Blunt. So by all means, if you got some riders you think would be better for Blunt...Please let me know. Thanks.
hunter bechtle should have got on
ReplyDeleteagree with anonymous post
ReplyDeletejon knudtson needs to be on. honestly, his video was enjoyed by EVERYONE
ReplyDeletei think steven should put underated guys on. everyone that has gotten on so far is already sponsored and dont need a different or another sponsor, dont get me wrong there all amazing riders , but steven needs to give other people a chance , one more spot left i hope i make it , i need it
ReplyDeleteWhy would a big company want a team full of a bunch of unknown riders? Im sure Steven knows exactly who hes looking for and pretty well reconized as one of the best TM's in the sport so i respect all his team making decisions...
ReplyDeletecory we are not asking for a team full of unknown riders
ReplyDeletewe are saying that we want to give a chance to some unknown underated riders in the sport.
id like to see a few new names pop up
yes cory a team of all unknown riders wouldn't be smart but there's some underated riders out there that deserve a sponsor ,this is a perfect opportunity for them to get one,4 riders that have been picked are overated it would nice for the last spot to be filled by an underated rider that deserves it.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cory.
ReplyDeleteHunter...think about something just REAL quick. You just called your potential 4 Team Mates....Overrated riders. Do you understand what a Team is first of all?
Do you understand that these are the guys you would be traveling with? And you're basically saying they're not as good as people think they are. Do you think they're going to want you on this Team now?
Seriously...I respect all your guys' opinions. But to be honest, a lot of you don't know what it means to be on a Team, and DEF. don't know what a company is doing and trying to succeed in when picking Team riders. You guys are all thinking of SPONSORSHIPS. Not becoming part of a TEAM. A TEAM rider has a very different job description, than a Sponsored rider does.
Jordan. You are without a doubt my favorite rider. Keep doing whatcha do.
ReplyDeletehuh?
ReplyDeletewhats the difference with being a sponsorship and becoming a team member?
serious question
