Former Australian Scooter Rider Hospitalized

Jarrod Whitehead was a scooter rider back in the day who personified what to me, was classic Aussie style.  Big airs, footjams, steeze all around.  Before trick spamming became a thing, and people cared how the trick was done, rather than what trick was done.  Jarrod eventually fell out of scootering, and picked up skateboarding.  Yesterday he was bombing a hill on his board, when he fell off and suffered severe head trauma.  He was airlifted to a hospital in Sydney and now a friend has set up a MyCause page to ask for donations and help support his family with the medical bills.  Its terrible to see any our extended scoot family get injured like this, and I hope he can make a full recovery.

Michele Failla Out for Injury

Michele was working on a full edit, but he ended up breaking his leg, and is now out until further notice. Which is a shame. 2012 was big for Michele, and any of the guys that got onto the Gryndo Scooters Pro Team. It literally took all these am riders, and they ended up all pushing themselves, and are all ten times better than they were before.

Nate Tansley On the Come Up

Well, he was definitely on the come up, and being from So Cal, that's no easy task.. until he got into an accident breaking a few bones in his leg which will now require surgery. It always sucks to see an up and coming rider go down, and have to take time off like that. All of these clips were filmed by Max Demoss, and Max also sent me the video. Hope Nate has a quick recovery, and gets back to riding sooner rather than later.

Twan Down!

This weekend, Madd USA TM Twan Bustos was involved in a snaking accident at a skatepark and ended up breaking his leg...he ended up in the hospital and got some pictures and a video of the doctors relocating his ankle.  Be warned, some of it is pretty nasty.  Everyone here at Inside wishes him a speedy and full recovery!
