Madd Gear XMas Gift

By now we should all be aware of how devastating Hurricane Sandy was to everyone on the East Coast. I have friends over there who had their entire houses burnt to the ground, people who lost everything, and lives were lost. Well Madd Gear is inviting all of you to do your part to help out everyone affected by the storm.

It's pretty simple really. If you're on the East Coast..you can ride TIC for free all day. All you have to do is bring one non perishable food item to donate. All the items brought for donation will be donated to the Raine Foundation, a local charity group that is helping families that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Back west in Arizona, Flipside Ridehouse and MGP got together so that on the same day you can spend the day riding at AZ Grind for their X Mas party. A portion of your entry fee to the park will also be donated to help families affected by Sandy. For more information check the flyers below.

T Bone is still out on the injured list, but that didn't stop him from getting a clip, and filming and editing the below video. The guys from MGP shred so hard, and with additions to the team like Gus Rymer, and Derek Seay, they only furthered to separate themselves as one of the most talent stacked teams in the sport today. MGP Deep West Tour Edit Part 1 and 2

MGP USA recently finished up their Deep West Tour, and it looked to be a huge success. The talent level of the MGP Team is so high, that it is really hard to not get psyched watching these guys throw down. Tons of footage in these two edits so watch em both.

Flipside Ridehouse Sponsoring Two Stops of the MGP Deep West Tour

Flipside is going to be sponsoring two of the upcoming MGP Deep West Tour stops in Arizona. For more information on that check the press release by Flipside below.


"Flipside Ridehouse is sponsoring not one but two events on Team Madd USA's Deep West Tour .  They will be held at the two of the best indoor skate parks in Arizona on Friday July 6th.



First event will be at AZ Grind in Mesa, AZ from 12pm to 3pm...the second will be at Kids that Rip from 7pm to 10pm...also in Mesa.  We all know temperatures will be soaring to well over 100 degrees outside.  Come ride with 9 members of Team MGP USA in the nice, cool, air-conditioned indoor parks.  Free goodies will be given away as well as one free MGP scooter to a lucky rider at each location."

Tyler Bonner 2012 MGP Edit

Tyler, when he doesn't have a torn ACL, is one of the best riders in the world, so it's probably in your best interest to watch this.  He's been saving up for this video for months and after a few issues finally managed to put this edit together himself.  Tyler's footage is always so gnarly.  720 the dirt scooter was so tight.  He still has a long road to recovery with his knee so this is probably gonna be the last video we'll see of him in a long time.  Kinda bummed on that but at least it gives the rest of us time to catch up...hahaha.

MGP USA Deep West Tour Starting Soon

MaddGearUSA Welcomes Eastern Skate Supply

So MGP definitely gets around when it comes to traveling all over the country, and the world for that matter. Sometimes you just gotta be in the right place, and have the right people watching you ride to land a big deal. Well the owner of Eastern Skate Supply, and former pro skateboarder Reggie Barnes was blown away by the riding of Collin DaSilva, Joe Armstrong, and Anthony "Twan" Bustos. In fact the video of them riding the ESS park is the first time scooters have ever even been invited to ride the ESS warehouse.

After what Reggie had seen, he was more than happy to become an official US Distributor of MaddGear Products. For more information check the press release from MGP below.

MGP USA Deep West Summer Tour

The MGP Teams are known for going on Tours pretty frequently, and they got a pretty big tour going on this Summer. Theyll be hitting up parks all over California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Idaho. If you've ever been to an MGP Tour Stop, you know what to expect. MaddGear 3 for 1: East Coast Tour, Billy Watts Flat, Robbie Weir RAW

Starting off with the East Coast Tour. Jeremy Beau for the most part has kinda been seen as the new guy on MGP, but with the last clip in this edit, let's just say he established his position on the Team pretty well. You also got the rest of the MGP USA Team doing what they do. Solid clips from everyone. So check it out.




Well Billy kinda proves that he doesn't really need a skatepark or ramps to throw down. It's only a few clips but the flat 7 at the end was super clean, and it is a real change of pace to see any of the MGP AUS guys riding something other than huge boxes and skateparks... even if these were filmed, at the skatepark. Good stuff from Billy.



Robbie is one of the more recent additions to the MGP AUS Team. These raw clips will show you why. It is rare as hell to see someone throwing double backflips, and even rarer for them to be done as clean as Robbie's at the end of this edit.

I'm not sure why the quality of this video is bad but I do know that Collin shreds.  Rides park really cleanly and has no problem throwing big tricks in the streets.  I'd really love for him to drop an all street edit, I'm sure he could put down some good tricks.

MGP Events Coming Up: Southern Cali, East Coast Tour, and Las Vegas

Madd Gear has got a lot going on in the remaining month of March, and in April. So let's start with what's coming up first.

(Belated) St. Patricks Day Competition

Next two events are taking place later this month in Las Vegas. The guys at Madd Gear are going to be taking part in something pretty insane this month. They will be taking part in the Extreme Thing event in Las Vegas.. For more information on that, click ExtremeThing The below event is going to be a qualifer to see if you will be competing in the Extreme Thing Halfpipe Challenge. The Madd Gear Halfpipe Challenge QUALIFIER will take place on March 30th at Break N Bread Academy Skate Park in Las Vegas, NV.


Which leads us to the actual Extreme Thing event in Las Vegas. The only reason that scooters will be seen on a stage as big as this, is due to Gryndo Scooters, and of course Madd Gear. This is not just scooters, but other action sports as well, and tons of live music. Basically, get to Las Vegas on March 30th and 31st. Don't miss this.


Finally the East Coast Tour, and it's a big one. The guys will be all over the East Coast hitting up various skate shops and skateparks. So everyone on the East Coast don't worry about all this MGP action on the West Coast, cause they're coming your way soon. More details on the flier.

MGP Ride Day at San Clemente

Did you forget how good Madd USA's Jessee Ikedah is? That's unfortunate. Here, this video will remind you that Jessee is a 100% Boss.

Street. Park.. doesn't matter. Jessee will kill it. He has so much raw ability and style, that it makes it almost impossible to look away when you're watching him ride, or watching one of his videos. A solid edit like this from Jessee has been long overdue. Really loved this.

MaddGear USA West Coast Summer Tour

You stick an entire Team of some of the sports top riders all on one Tour, hitting street spots and skateparks for 1 week, and you are going to have non stop insane riding. MGP is sending their entire US Team on a tour of the West Coast, and they are inviting anybody and everybody to make it out to ANY of the stops along the way.
