Well, if there's one thing that all of us riders know, it's that we can't control the weather. The only thing worse then having a blown session due to rain or bad weather, is when one of the biggest contests of the year gets cancelled..
That's exactly what happened with the Jamo Jam 3 contest in Australia. The reason this is so unfortunate is because riders traveled from across the world for this contest. Which is now being pushed back to possibly next month. More details on this will be released here on Inside-Scooters.

Welcome to Canada
ReplyDeleteOmg, that's crazy. You can always organize your own little jam/get together things to ride with everyone though
ReplyDeleteYeah everybody seshed Monster afterwards.
ReplyDeleteIt was still a really sweet day, loads of bangers still went down.
still took everyones money though and the 2 bottom classes are now dumped not happy!
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteI still dont get why its called a jam when its a competition.
ReplyDeleteOnly about 2 days late on this news....
ReplyDeleteTo the anonymous above, I posted when I got the message from Rory. Which was 5 minutes before I posted this.
ReplyDeleteI think they should have made the decision to cancel it the day or two before. I drove two hours signed up then they canceled it then they take the $30 rego. pretty slack i reckon.
ReplyDelete- Callen
yeah, still a heaps good day though, expect some clips soon from fully decked as we filmed wat we could before it started to rain. And its called a jam because there is a big jam after the comp
ReplyDeleteI spoke to Rory regarding the rego fee. He said if you asked his mum that she would give the money back. Try emailing them. I believe alot of people still recieved stuff like the jamo jam wheel and beanies etc. In the end its $30, not the end of the world. Some of the worlds top talent was there, be fucking proud to be a part of it all.
ReplyDeleteah well the promoters are cashed up so NO comp will go ahead now....all the international pro and interstate pro's probably wont come back for the shit prizes that were up for grabs...im with Callen
ReplyDeleteTo anonymous above. They got the beginner classes money. They still had intermediate and pro classes to get. I dont think they are "cashed up" from like 12 kids. You can still get it back if you lost your money anyway. If you want to make a comp, I mean organise it from scratch, then by all means go for it. Its no easy task.
ReplyDeleteI was in intermediate, drove 7 hrs for it, paid rego, didn't get my money back, I am pissed mainly that I didn't get to compete against other riders. Where I come from its rare to have that kind of opportunity
ReplyDeleteContact Rory or Sherrie then?
