The Royal Scout Pro is actually a pound and a half lighter than the Razor phase 2. Is going to be coming out soon in multiple colors. Also made by a company that has been making Mountain products for some time now. They are both made in China and it is more about preference because as far as quality, they are very similar. Although with the experience that the maker of the Royal Scouts has. I would give a slight edge to them.
Josh it is just fine if you prefer the Razor Phase 2 however before you make comments, I suggest that you do better research!!!! Don't just like something because somebody else likes it. Find out for yourself!
Sam, you don't even know why you're talking about. And neither does whoever is posted as Victory. They copy and pasted their info off of websites and a lot of their information was wrong. Then they have the nerve to question me?! Keep following, Sam.
Hey I believe you now just because of the screw up Victory had, but I just don't like how you bashed on some people who are just trying to make a living, but trust me I still respect you a ton and love your riding.
funny..... my phase two with pegs rads and slime in the tubes only weighs 14.4 pounds.... a phase two out of the box is 12.9 pounds so lets just say 13. and lets face it, people would rather ride a big company like phase twos products rather than a newer company like royal. -max demoss
How dare you question my integrity. I'm not biased to any brands. But I have worked on a couple models made by Royal and have had nothing but issues with them. On top of which, the quality of the product in comparison to most trusted brands, Royal quality is laughable at best. I also notice one crucial bit of information that you left out about the Royal "dirt scooter" information. The PSI of their tires. Phase Two's are 80 PSI, where the Royal tires are only 60 PSI, and as it is, 80 PSI is a soft air pressure for what we do on them. I would not trust a 60 PSI tube/tire. I see the manufacturing quality of Royal, as a joke. So keep hocking your secondary quality products.
Not Trying to misinform anyone...the specs sheet on phase 2 scooters says 16.3 lbs. Thank you for the info though and they should change that so we don't get the wrong info. one of my riders has a phase 2 and I will weigh it as soon as he comes into the shop. I just don't know why you always have to bash and hate. we will carry the Phase 2 as well and let the customer make the choice! I don't bash and hate on you or your riding, whether I like it or not...bashing is a BAD business practice!
I have also heard that there are some problems with the tires bubbling on the Phase 2...do you have any info on that? I am not being sarcastic, just curious?
I haven't had any tires bubble up. But that's not to say it hasn't happened. Phase Two definitely has the weight wrong, then. I've seen a weighed Phase Two sitting at 12.6 lbs, stock right out of the box.
@Anonymos.The only scooter company that doesn't sell to us is Scooter Zone! And it is obvious that you work for them, or you would not have known anything about it! We have never and will never knock off anyones parts. If you think our bars look like yours...you might want to look at 10 other bars out there that look like Epic Rewinds!! And bars that came out before Epic rewinds! Especially the New Fasen bars. I do not see you talking smack on them. Our bars connect Bar to Sheet to Bar, which are totally different than Rewinds. I bet you are Nick Darger
I have the integrity to post my own name here on every post I make. If it was me I would have made note of it at the bottom.
Scooter zone along with Phoenix, MGP, and other brands have buffer zones to make sure shops have territories. This helps shops succeed by not having direct competition across the street from them.
I keep out of this stuff on IS now. Companies copy companies everyday now. Kids will realize which brands are best and stick with them.
@Anonymous you probaly do work for scooterzone because all you guys do it talk shit. Me and alot of my friends dont like scooterzone anymore because u guys just talk shitt all the time.
Trust me us zone guys are staying out of this. Plus we post our names when we do post. Only employee/rider in here was max Demoss. Who just said the weight of his dirt scoot. We are staying out of this just like you should leave us out of this.
I guess scooter zone talks a lot of shit, but without a doubt still one of the of the best scooter companys and store.
To the bar you knocked off. How about the day you went into scooter zone and try to sell you wack a knock off rewind to james and got rejected in front of customer. Also thinking about calling people without knowing who they are.
Remember guys you cant be victory if you cant flip.
@Nick, Are you out of the Buffer Zone opening a shop right down the street from another scooter company in Australia. Or Opening a shop in Santa Clarita right by another company, or not too far away from Pro Ride? Why is it ok for SZ to do that. There are 10-15 companies selling scooter parts in south Orange county, why is our shop your target? I have lived 2 miles away from where we opened our shop, for 35 years and had an online store for year and a half, less than 2 miles away. We respect SZ for all it has done for the sport!! Several people have expressed that SZ prices are high and the customer service could be a lot better! Still we do not talk trash on SZ.
I am not trying to trash talk. Just stated as to why we can't sell to you. We moved near a shop in Australia and one in Santa Clarita. And yes their are certain brands we cannot carry. We talked to distributors and found found out the consequences and risk. Im not sure why you keep bringing me into this. If you want to talk that bad you know where I am every day. You can just call the shop at 951-520-1234 between 11-7 every day. I try to keep out of all this stuff. It only makes both parties look bad.
I have never had ANYTHING against you. Do not know why you and some Scooter Zone guys have a misperception of me? Just seems like Scooter Zone employees, maybe not you this time, always have to trash talk on our company. I will give you a call sometime so that we can try to clear things up! As for right now Scooter Zone is the only company that does not sell to us and I respect that! You have 4 shops in So Cal and if you choose not to sell to us that's unfortunate but understandable. But to contact(email) other companies and try to get them to not sell to us, is NOT right. And that is what Scooter Zone did!!!
I wasn't talking trash until they called me out for being biased. Which I have never been. I worked at Scooter Zone for quite some time. Kids walk in wanting District, and as most of you know, I dislike District very much for numerous reasons, but I sell it. I just make sure the customer understands what else they could get that would fit them better and last longer. Nowadays I just feel that a lot of dealers offer inferior products. And I'm not shy to lead someone in a better direction to make them happy. I also don't believe in all these "companies" hoping on the dirt scooter bandwagon without putting any real testing into their product. Victory is chill. Who cares if their bars look similar to another. There are plenty of examples that could be used like VertX jacking the entire Lucky product line up. Now we actually have kids thinking that VertX was around before Lucky and that they jacked their designs, which is pretty funny. Everyone just needs to chill. If Victory didn't mean to misinform, then I just educated them in some ways and that only helps everyone. Just can't believe what you see online. Gotta go off of what you know, not what some IT guy typed into their website because some higher up at the corporate company emailed them a list of "details."
Hopefully everyone stops arguing. If any of my posts came off as aggressive, I apologize. I get caught up in the moment sometimes, haha. And I have knowledge of scooters, so to imply otherwise, sets me off sometimes.
Josh, I couldn't agree with you more!! There are products that we try to steer customers away from too, if they are not well made products. I also appreciate your desire to help other kids and be a role model, whether it is from a sales standpoint or riding standpoint. We also try to educate them when they come in because they are easily confused by all the different types of products and brands. I have watched you ride for some time and give you props for trying difficult tricks. We support everyone that is in this for honest business and helping this sport grow by working together! We will not however be intimidated by companies or individuals, under any circumstances!
Don't have to worry about me siding with Scooter Zone. I no longer ride or work for them. Darger isn't whoever posted earlier that started this. He does post with his name every time and he really does avoid making problems a public matter. Some of the lesser known employees on the other hand, I can't say the same about. But either way. If you guys have any issues. Either agree to disagree and just avoid drama, or give Darger a call at the Mega Zone and see about maybe squashing the drama. Good luck with whichever choice you make.
No, and that's a stupid assumption to make. I'm saying I'm not siding with anyone. If someone's wrong or says something stupid, I won't sugar coat anything.
And I find it funny how you think you say SZ riders talk shit on you Victory... You maybe know 4 guys and sz and there the upper management not any of the other guys under the zone
honestly i dont have any hate twards any company. yes i dislike some things like district. i have my reasons. but no beef with anybody. i beleive something was said about scooterzone employees talking shit to costomers about products? well i work at the zone part time. im there 3 or more times a week and i am verry good friends with everyone there and i KNOW for a fact that NOBODY at the mega zone would say anything worthy of being called shit talk. especialy the people who work at the register and in the retail room. our main front guy (jake show) is THE NICEST person i know in the scootering comunity. lets please stop the hate.
I do not hate any of the Zone guys!! There are some that have given us a hard time and just want to stop the negativity. Like I said I have great respect for the Zone. And really like a lot of the riders!
If you're going to bother to comment anonymously, think about what you're saying and what credibility you'll have without a name. Besides that, please keep the comments constructive, thanks!
Gross. Those Royal Dirt Scooters are horrible. The quality just isn't there, and parts aren't really standardized like Phase Two or Twisted.
