Dakota Schuetz Interview with Skates.co.uk

Ok, so he might not have that much personality, but he is the best competition rider in the world today. That is something no one can argue. While this interview might not get him any more fans, it is good to get to hear his opinion on some things.

 You get a sense for how serious Dakota sees this sport. Riding no less than 4-6 hours a day, making sure that when he gets out there on the course of his next contest, he truly does resemble a Machine. I've seen Dakota compete both in person, and in videos a lot. And you can count the amount of times he's fallen in the past few years on one hand.

At the end Ben wishes him good luck on winning the contest, which clearly Dakota didn't need, because he did win the contest, as expected.

    i think these interview videos are pretty chill. but all i could think when watching this is i dont think i have EVER seen a picture or video of him not all padded up. like i know thats how he rides and reps pads hard but for a sit down interview? haha idk. dakota fucking rips and watching him at comps is soooo gnarly

    He didn't really seem cocky, but just as Steven said he really doesn't have a personality. It's funny that even in an interview the dude is wearing pads and a helmet haha.

    He didn't come across as overly cocky to me when were chatting - just real chilled out.
    As for the pads & helmet, I literally grabbed him when he had a spare second and he'd just come off the course.

    lol no one is as bad as Dylan Kason, Jordan Jasa, Alex Steadman, JOsh Young, Tom K, and basically anyone who hangs with them haha. Those guys take cocky and douchebag to another level


    Dakota isnt that bad. But he does seem a little full of himself.

      LOL have you ever hung out with Steven at all? Ive chilled with him at numerous comps, and he's one of the funniest most chill dudes you can meet. You just said "slagging" youre probbaly not even FROM the usa...so you obviously never hung out with Steven

    This dudes a dick. If you are riding something and he is there he will take whatever you are doing and throw in 3 more combos. He wont even say "yo bro that was cool, mind if i try?" Then as soon as he lands it look at you to let you know he just showed you up.

    I love friendly competition but he is a complete douche nozzle.
