Scooter Zone 2 for 1: Josh Toy How To + Kevin Austin Scooter Check
Got a couple Scooter Zone videos today. One of them is by OG Josh Toy, showing you guys how to Unlookback and Unturndown. The next is from Scooter Zone Aus's Kevin Austin, one of the smoothest riders around, with a scooter check. Check em out below. Both include clips after the How To, and SC.
I think Mr. Toy needs to dust off his trick dictionary ;-) Last I knew anyhow, the fundamental difference between a lookback and turn down and their "un" counterparts was that a turndown was performed in a regular air, i.e. - a regular stanced rider would air to the right and turndown to the right while a lookback would be done in an opposite air while still cranking the bars in their normal direction creating the desired lookback effect as opposed to what was stated where a lookback would be done on a quarterpipe and a turndown would be done in a straight air over a box or pyramid. The same would be true in the unlookback and unturndown. Although there is truth to the lookback not being able to be done in a straight air, obviously critical is the rotation, where one could do an opposite 360 lookback or a regular 360 turndown over a box. The video was still super technical and I appreciate the combos, I am only being critical because its a tutorial and I wouldn't want to see people being misinformed and then passing along that same misinformation :-) great videos!
If you're going to bother to comment anonymously, think about what you're saying and what credibility you'll have without a name. Besides that, please keep the comments constructive, thanks!
