Am Spotlight is a new feature we're adding to this site designed to help the underexposed get the exposure they deserve! Every week we will post a new "Am Spotlight" video with a few questions for the rider so that you, the readers can get to know them a bit more.
Chase Moorman
The rider featured is a young heavy hitter out of Southern California. He has been riding for 3 years, his style and ability on a scooter shows promise for the future. I will be keeping an eye out for his name in the future as i am sure it'll be a big name some day.
This video shows true originality and a natural skill, His riding appears to be very clean and his tucks a to die for. Below you will find that i recently had the chance to ask him a few questions and give you guys an inside look at Chase Moorman.
Chris: How old are you and where do you reside?
Chase: I am 13 and I live in Riverside, Ca
Chris: What tricks are you currently working on?
Chase: Whip to hang 5 also working on 900s
Chris: I see that this is your sponsor video for scooter zone, have you had any luck or feedback from them?
Chase: No not yet, Hopefully after i gain some more exposure this will change.
Chris: Where do you see your riding level in 5 years, & what companies do you hope to be involved with?
Chase: I would love to be on the Pro Level working closely with Phoenix or Scooter Zone.
Chris: Thanks for your time Chase and allowing us to share your riding, Any last words?
Chase: Keep riding and have fun do it for the love.

ReplyDeleteI saw no "true originality" in this video. I saw the same exact tricks that everybody else is doing on the same obstacles that everybody else is going them on.
ReplyDeleteMaybe there's no "true originality", but there's a good filming & editing, a smooth style, and a rider who's only 13!
