You guys might recognize Sanchez because he spent some time on the Proto Team, but I was a fan of Sanchez far before that. Sanchez has some of the best style on and off a scooter I've seen to date. He just makes whatever he's doing on his scooter look damn good. For a long time this edit below was made so it couldn't be embedded on a website, now that it is, I'm definitely posting. Sanchez doesn't ride much anymore to my knowledge, but he drops in on ISB every once in a while. So whatt up Sancheezmo.

Black Diamond Dead of Winter Scooter Jam Edit
Josiah McClements made this edit of the Dead of Winter Scooter Jam comp at Black Diamond which went down last week. Tons of heavy hitters were there, and the comp looked good. Wondering if this is going to become an annual competition, it'd be cool to see it grow. Check it out below.

Hella Grip HSHB Addison McNaughton RAW
These raw footage videos are so cool. Gives you a sense of what the rider goes through to get a clip. In this one, we get to see a classic Addy freakout. That curved double peg is still so sick, props to him for getting it even after getting worked.

Jona Humbel Welcome to Unfair
There's nothing unfair about Jona getting on, congrats to him. One of the coolest dudes in scootering for sure. And yes, this means Unfair has now branched out to the US, and will be releasing more edits from new team riders in the near future.

Envy at Woodward
Third Woodward video in a row, we're on a roll here. The guys said this video is "a little relaxed compared to what we usually do," but it was just as good. Jessee really came through, that 270 bar to fakie smith was on the money.
Basic Bunch- Trevor Pritchard
Trevor was in attendance at Woodward this year, and put together this video to promote Basic's Facebook page. They have some sweet pics up there already, go check it out.
Woodward West 2013 Footage
Capron Funk was there at Woodward for the Scooter Weekend and captured this footage of the going-ons there. Looked like a fun time, as always. Shoutout to Scooter Mom, Kim Funk, for organizing the weekend and making it possible. Also shoutout to Alex Steadman for having a DTDF patch on his jean jacket.
Don't forget to save the date for the next Woodward Scooter Camp, this time over at Woodward East.
VEX Mayhem Tour
This was awesome. Vex went on a tour to Brisbane for 10 days, and even with some inclement weather accomplished a lot. Super good vibes, good riding, well done video. Such a nasty lens hit in the beginning, huge bummer.
Hugo Svare on Exode
Hugo now gets his swag shirts and other fine clothing items from Exode. He put these clips together to announce that he is on now. So much flow, last clip was so good.
WISE Planet Coping- Vol. 2
This is a super good montage of the Wise crew (Arthur Blond, Travis House, Alexis Cuvillier, Balthazar Neveu, Marc Pauls) as well as a bunch of friends (Toinou, Lambou, Martouz, Francky, Ruben, Fran, Jules, Jerem, L'assassin, Lyes). Some insane spots and fun looking park setups.

Dan Barrett- "How We Ride"
These are some clips that Dan sent in for Hella Grip, featuring a lot of both park and street. Super clean and super tech as always. That bar lip 3 to manual combo was so unexpected.

Fasen Scooters | The Brendon Smith Video
Bsmith's latest video is a 12 (TWELVE) minute long marathon of mindblowing trick after mindblowing trick after mindblowing trick. It amazes me how someone can progress so much while not actually progressing at all. Brendon has certainly stuck to his roots, doing what hes done best, not venturing out too far from that style. As for him being better than Kota, like some people are already saying? Nah.
Conor Davidson Krush Clips
Konor killing it with some kool klipz at Krush. Back lip 3 was done right and proper. Also the deck is a v1, so don't get too excited. Its a 22 inch long v1 at that, and he already has a v2 on the way.

Kota On Ellen
So, what do you guys think? I'm bummed that he had to go out and talk to her while wearing the pads and helmet, but I think he came across as a nice kid at least. A lot could probably be said but I will leave it at that I'm sure Kota will continue to get more and more people into and aware the sport with this appearance and any future ones too.
HSHB Raw Footage: George Justiniano
George has been one of the best low key riders for a while now. He's one of those guys that is more focused on getting out and riding, than building his name online. A strange concept to most, I'm sure. These are his raw clips that he got while filming for Hella Stoked and Hella Broke. Check em.

Serjey Noga Welcome to TSI
Serjey is definitely back and killing it. I first met him back in Washington, when he was like 4 feet tall, and just a little dude, and he already had skill. He's riding for TSI now, and looks like the deck is a perfect fit for him, cause he shreds hard in this edit. My kind of park edit for sure.
On the come up, Ricky Cox, Vince Pernas, and Robby Mierzejewski
Ricky has been around for a while, but he's starting to try and push his street game. He's getting there, but he's gotta pick up the pace with some of those tricks and lines. If he starts doing that, his edits are going to be a lot more enjoyable. Check it out.
Vince Pernas is holding it down in Miama Florida, and he's doing a good job. Street edit, with an overall good vibe. Editing could use some work, but his tricks keep the video going. I'd like to see his next edit for sure.
Finally and young boy whos name I won't even try and pronounce, Robby Mierzejewski. One thing I noticed when I saw this kids riding was how it looked like he was trapped in an indoor skatepark, and should be released out into the streets. His raw style reminds me a lot of guys like Issac Miller. Lots of speed and seems like they can ride just about anything.

Chicago Scramble 2
The 2nd edition of Chicago Scramble was released today, this one featuring Kirk Svensson, Conor Davidson, and the bossman, Collin Snoek. I can't believe Kirk let go of his scooter not once but twice hitting the same car. And still managed to go back and get the trick hahah.
Riley Hughes | Express Yourself
Riley is a boss. That banger seriously came out of nowhere. Don't miss the mcwhip flat, nobody does those, especially flat. Also there is some sweet b-roll of him doing the worm, so yeah.
Lucky Scooters | Blake Bailor Faceplant
I've heard before that Blake has a knack for nailing the ground with his face. Sadly I've never been able to witness it in person but this'll have to work for now. If you listen he says "I'm ok" so it sounds like he's fine.
Ruben Rodriguez "R.Rod" Welcome to AO
Another shredder for AO, this time out of Barcelona. I'd guess Ruben is a natural heelwhipper, and sure does take advantage of that. 360 double heel MACBA? Wow. Banger looks huge too.
Michele Failla Out for Injury
Michele was working on a full edit, but he ended up breaking his leg, and is now out until further notice. Which is a shame. 2012 was big for Michele, and any of the guys that got onto the Gryndo Scooters Pro Team. It literally took all these am riders, and they ended up all pushing themselves, and are all ten times better than they were before.

Tondid Soomes.
Super tight video coming from a trip Madis Kukk and the Estonian homies took to Finland to ride the new park built by FinScooter. Thought he was gonna pull a KC when he was at the top of that vert wall. Mikael Parman is also a boss.

Scooyork- The Midnight Mob
Yesyesyes. I'm into this. NYC cruising, the way NYC should be ridden. This video really encapsulates what street riding is about- having fun with the homies, and experiencing things you normally wouldn't inside a park (prime example, the guy making a music video). I want to see more of this.
Kyle Tolentino Start of 2013
Clearly Kyle is trying to go hard in 2013. Loving the street clips, his wall rides are legit. High speed on everything which makes anyones riding look better. Banger was pretty sick, and that slam...... haha. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year is like for Kyle.

Next we have the Dead of Winter Jam at Black Diamond Skatepark, presented by Inward and Barking Spyder.
And finally there is the Shred the South Jam in Texas. Tons of competitions sprouting up everywhere, if none of these happen to be in your area keep checking back for more upcoming competition announcements.
Evan Larson/Jon Reyes: 2013 Phoenix Diagnosis
Here we have Evan and Jon chillin alone together in a hot tub, in the dark, doing scooter checks and and talking about Phoenix's plans for the year. If that's not enough to make you watch, there is some really sick footage about halfway through. Clip at 6:28 was too fresh.
Ryan Gould Cruisin Da Streets
My mans Ryan Gould and his filmer/buddy Cody Groom got bored and this is the result. A sick night edit. Ryan killed in 2012, and I see only good things for him in 2013. Sucks he got beat by that 720 at the end, but it's all good, the 5 was still tight.

Ralph McMoran RAW HSHB
Some of Ralphs raw footage from Hella Stoked Hella Broke. Honestly, Ralph is one of the most naturally talented riders to touch a scooter. Unlike some of the top riders today, he's one of the dudes who never really had a "suck" period. From his first edits, to his edits now, he was always full of talent. He puts most of that into the streets these days, but he can still murder a park.

JD in Denmark
JD is spending some time in Denmark, which means he is going to be shredding with various legit street riders, most from the HooTigh crew. What does that mean? We're going to be seeing some sick footage dropping in the future.

ADVCT Baseball T-Shirt Commercial
The ADVCT boys got this commercial done featuring Evan Yamada for their baseball tee. You can get your own at www.advctscooters.com.
Billy Watts The End of Summer
It might be cold over here in the States, but in Australia, Summer is wrapping up soon. These are the clips Billy was planning to use for a bigger edit, but another broken ankle put that plan on hold. Billy is one of the few park riders that isn't boring to watch. His tiretap combos are on point, and he has plenty of other combos to back those up. You guys can catch Billy Watts in the next upcoming issue of Dialed Scooter Magazine as well.
Ben Bursell Separate Minded
I'm not a big fan of "Street Edits" now a days, mainly because they all kind of look and feel the same as the one that came before it. But there are the occasional rarities that deserve that recognition. Ben Bursell is friends with Bobby Pantano which explains his riding a little bit. His riding is a bit more unique, and it's looking pretty good. He's got a ways to go, but he's getting there. Last clip was sick.
Skates.co.uk Interviews with John Radtke and Ali Kermani
Ben was taking care of business in Germany, and got some legit interviews done as always. The two below are with Dirt Scooter creator John Radtke, and Phase 2/Razor longtime employee Ali Kermani. John gives you a little bit of insight on how the Dirt Scooter came to be, and Ali Kermani breaks down Razor and Phase 2 and their differences, and what we can expect in 2013 with Phase 2. All of it sounds really good.

Asylum Trip
Justin Lacosse and Kirk Svensson went crazy at the indoor park Asylum recently. Justin is getting so good, back lip dub was buttery. Bummed on no Tommy Daddono clips, he helped film but I guess is still recovering from his torn ACL.
"Shred the South" Scooter Comp
The above is a flyer for a comp that's happening, but this isn't just a normal comp. The park its at, Dave's, is falling on some hard times and may be closing soon. So, the more people to make it out there for this, the better. Help out your local Texas scene and shred with the bros if you wanna see Dave's stick around.

Woodward West Scooter Camp
Yep, it's that time of year again. Everything you need to know should be on the flyer, hit up www.scootertees.org if you need more info.
RIP Daniel Gutendorff
Daniel Gutendorff may not be a name the younger guys reading this are familiar with, but it should mean something to those from 2010-earlier. It seems that early this week, at age 16, Daniel ended his own life. Dan was an incredibly gifted rider, but living in Motala, Sweden, didn't allow for him to ride much anywhere except the road outside his own home.
Riding the flat and few parks/street spots he did have, he quickly turned into one of the most technical young riders out there. Not only that, but he was someone I considered a close friend. Back then, we would converse over MSN like you would with your buddy on Facebook today. Despite the language barrier, despite the thousands of miles separating us, we were connected through scooter riding and the Internet. Sadly, from what I understood he developed some back problems and was ordered by his doctor to stop riding. After that he would occasionally hit me up, even asked about some new parts that he wanted to buy.
Dan had a part in Technical Difficulty, which was one of the most discussed videos of its time.
Nearly a year ago, he did tell me that he was depressed and was trying to fix his life, and wanted to know what he should do...I did very little to help, only telling him to seek counseling and find some new friends. I didn't know what to say, I'd never been in that situation before...I just wish I had made an effort afterwards to check up on him and see how he was doing. Please, for what it's worth, if you know someone who is depressed, having suicidal thoughts, or just seems down, talk to them. If you are someone who is in a situation like Daniel was, please reach out to someone. You never know what kind words can do for someone. Suicide shouldn't be an option for anyone at all, much less someone like Dan; a good kid, and talented scooter rider.
Rest in Peace Daniel.

Throwback Thursday: Nick Darger 951 DVD Part
Back in 2009 the 951 Crew made one of the first DVDs in our sport, The 951 DVD. Some of the riders featured were, Nick Donatelli, Monky, Jarrod Bruns, Raymond Warner, and more. The DVD itself was great for its time, and a lot of the clips can still hold up today with ease. Overall my favorite section was Nick Darger. Nick has always been an all around rider with skills in park and street, which is apparent even back then. And of course who can forget the infamous battle with the double tailwhip at the end. Check it out below.

Joe Armstrong Farewell MaddGear Edit
Well first Tyler Bonner, and now Joe Armstrong? You have to wonder about Collin, Gus, and Peter.. but we'll see what happens. Joe's reasons for leaving were personal, so not really sure why or what caused it. What I'm interested in is to see where Joe ends up. He was one of the most talented guys on MaddGear, but I felt like at times he was overshadowed by Tyler Bonner. This edit is packed full of bangers, I think I even saw a 720 whip to downside whip in there. Check it.
Cory Vanlew Skid Marks
My dude Vanlew has been around a long ass time. He finally got his big break when he hooked up with Sunshine Distribution, and the rest is history for Cory. He started to travel around the world, and he took full advantage of that, getting clips from all over the place. I've rode with Cory before, and he is one of those dudes that has natural style, nothing he does is forced, and that's the kind of riding I like. Check out his latest below.

Florida Ride: Todd Duff
Here we have another Florida Ride part. Todd Duff shreds it in this one. Feeble to bar that curved brick hubba was one of my favorite clips for sure. He seems to be stuck on doublewhips flat though. And 3 downside whips. I'm sure he'll grow out of it.
Jamie Gantz
Jamie is the sickest. I rode with him for a day last summer and he just charges it. That first clip was so crazy, because of these little knobs that gave him about 4 inches of room to ride down. Loved the banger too, long grinds are the best. I took a couple photos of Jamie that day last summer too, check them out below.
Matt Dibble 2012 Footage
Matt is one of my all-time favorite people to have ridden a scooter. Most people probably weren't around/don't remember a few years ago when Dibbs was one of the most well-liked people in the sport. He did fade away a bit (I think this is his first video since 2009), but he is still sponsored by VertX and makes it out to a couple events over the year. He also managed to lose a lot of weight, but sadly gained a baldspot. Anyways I'm hyped on his footage, check it out.
Washingtage 2
TomK came through again with this footage of the NW homies. Looks like they had fun making it, and thats what it's all about. Pretty swag line at :47.

Scooter Hut Update #1
For those who don't know Scooter Hut is the number one shop out in Australia. The riders that work there are some of the best in the sport, guys like Taylor Smith, Jon Archer, Jackson Manzie, and Kevin Austin are just a few of the dudes you can expect to find working in the shops. We're going to start getting updates from them informing you guys on everything they have going on, below is the first one.

Jon Reyes Learning Flair Whips
Jon Reyes isn't exactly known for his flips or flairs, but they're there. He recently went to Black Diamond with Dan Barrett, and it looks like Colin Dasilva and Joe Armstrong. Dan wasn't riding due to an arm injury, so he was stuck on the camera. Jon makes it look pretty easy to learn flair whips haha.
During the end of the video, Joe explains how the skaters weren't letting any of the scooter riders hit the box, so naturally Jon being Jon started to sesh the box regardless. One thing I like about Jon is that he won't take shit or take being disrespected. So when a skater almost runs into him, despite Jon already being on the box, Jon takes it into his own hands. Supposedly it all ended well with a handshake...But that's besides the point. Was good to see a scooter rider actually stand up for themselves for once. Too many riders are afraid to actually do something about it when it comes to being disrespected. Props to my dude.

MGP Are You Madd Enough Vol 1 + 2013 MGP New Products
MGP recently put together a compilation edit featuring all of their riders, from Scootering, to BMX, and even a skateboarder in there. Pretty sick to see the Bmx riders shredding, most of the scootering footage has been seen before though.
Also MGP recently released their online catalog showing off their 2013 product line. All new Completes, and signature bars for Ryan Williams and Terry Price are a few of the things to look forward to. Not to mention a "street deck" that is bound to turn a few heads. They show off their new Bmx completes, as well as their skateboarding line... which has a lot, and I mean a lot, of Skull Graphics.. You guys can check it out by clicking the link below. Just go to the site, and click "catalog"

Matt McKeen "So What" Raw Footage
Addict just uploaded Matt's raw clips, secondary angles, unused clips and some bails. Appreciate this and then go watch the actual part. And the full So What video.
Sunday Sample 11
Here's Dennis Levesque with a few quick clips at Rye Skatepark. Dennis doesn't have much footage but it's always super solid. Matt Reeves behind the lens on this one.

Florida Ride: Michael Hohmann
Here's another Florida Ride part, this time of Mr. Michael Hohmann. He shreds with a unique style and Olivia Monks did a nice job filming and putting it together. Michael also has a feature in the latest Dialed mag, you can check that out for more on him.
Jake Clark Signature Deck Promo
Wat....yeah. Jake Clark does it again, showing the world his most mind-blowing tricks. For me, tricks like the fingerwhip nose manual really make him stand out from these other trick machine riders since you don't see many others doing front wheel tricks like that. So crazy.
ADVCT: Now das paper
The ADVCT guys (as well as a few homies) put together this montage over a couple days. Strange to think that just a few short years ago they were all apart of the same team (minus Tyler Bradley). They worked their old Samammish magic for this edit.
Juice Box 2- Georgie Louis
These are some raw clips of UrbanArtt's Georgie Louis at a local indoor skatepark. Looks like he put some pegs on, already killing it with them.

Derek Seay Beginning of 2013 MADD Edit
Derek was under the radar for a while before finally getting picked up by Madd last year I believe. Since then you can see the effect it's had on his riding. It just looks like he's pushing himself harder and harder when he rides. He's always had a real distinct style to his riding, though I can kind of see that fading away, and being replaced by bigger tricks and combos. Check out his latest edit below.
